The elevator is tiny: I could barely fit in with just my suitcase, and then there was still a flight of stairs to climb. After two nights I had to vacate my first room because of a leaking roof and water coming down the ceiling; I was also shocked to discover that my room had not been locked after cleaning. The second room was better, but the toilet was not flushing well. Furthermore, there were a lot of street noises at times: I normally like to have the window open at night, but the curtain rail made that impossible and the noise was too much.

The location near the station suited me perfectly and the hotel was value for money: not wonderful, but good as one could expect for that price. I did not take breakfast but I understand that was OK. The staff are very friendly and helpful: a kettle will be provided on request. There are several pleasant restaurants nearby.

The fact booking .com offered breakfast for set price which implies it is for the two people in the room but it is only for 1 so we had to pay direct for another breakfast

No aircon, and very warm. Even window and room door open did not ventilate. Cleaning staff half opened the bilnds... Impossible to sleep with open windows, even on 3rd floor due to traffic noise. Breakfast somewhat simple.

It was very noisy. There was road work when we were there but with no A/C and the heat, we could not sleep with the windows closed due to the noise from the street.

The beds were comfortable and the room size was big. The persona were very nice and the property felt safe. The breakfast was also nice.

There were no power points next to the bed, the bathroom was not very clean the day I entered. Also, there was no soap in the shower. The room is very basic, it has the carpet, which makes it a bit smell like dust.

The showerheads were at a funny position so drenched the bathroom floor, but provided with lots of towels so cleaned up easily

Stayed here either end of a business trip, big comfy rooms and bathrooms, good location (within walking distance of town, harbour, and 2 minutes to train station, also a bus stop outside), and decent breakfast (which I made into a packed lunch for my train also!). Fast wifi also.

My room was stiflingly hot with window closed but the traffic noise was unbearable if I opened it. It was one of the hottest nights of the year, so I did not have a comfortable night.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Able to leave rucksack in secure room until checkin time. Hotel well placed for station, town centre and tram.

I have asked for a room with a seaview one month prior to arrival and was informed it was not available only one day prior to arrival. The view I had was miserable.

Needed lick of paint

Breakfast was plentiful , fresh and help yourself. My phone charger had broken desperately needed to contact hospital and reception staff were most helpful in helping with a spare. Excellent

The lift is very tiny which is not a big deal but I struggled to get in there with my 2 backpacks.

I liked the view from my room. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. Breakfast was proper.

Not so clean, the room we had was a little dodgy: even if the furniture was new and the bed was quite nice, the building (particularly the bathroom) felt like they hadn't been taken care of in a while.

the rooms where dirty, the room only has 2 outlets on the wall away from the bed, the window covers didn’t work properly, the bed springs where old and you can feel the springs getting stuck. the light outside the room was never off and the light pass throug the door, that was annoying at night.
