The location is great for work but far from old Lyon for tourists activities. Luckily the buses run regularly, are conveniently located next to the hotel and easy to use. Gluten free options are almost non existent on the hotel restaurant menu (salad is not a solution when you stay for a week). There are many restaurants near the hotel but it is the same situation. The grocery store was also very far, (walking distance) so if you have food allergies, food is a real challenge. I understand that currently, France in general is not an easy place to travel when you are celiac, but hopefully that will change in time.

Not able to take a drink in the restaurant. Happened twice to us when there were only few people. The staff did not know the number of the door to go up by the stairs. We had to wait for 15 mins.. they didn’t tell me how much I paid of guarantee and they never gave me the paper for it. Which caused problem when we tried room service and I had to give the last numbers of my credit card because they apparently had no guarantee for the room.. 2 phone call and 1 hour later we got 1 drink and desserts which we were refused in the bar. The person who did the check out was very good , helpful and apologetic .

The room and bathroom were very clean . The bed confortable The breakfast was ok but way too small for such an hotel. Not many spaces and we had to wait to seat everyday. At breakfast there was a good choice and it was good.

There didn't seem to be enough staff working. I only saw one member of staff working in the bar area. This was on a Sunday when the weather was very warm. I couldn't fault her as she was trying hard, but why wasn't there anyone helping her out?

The staff of reception promised to hear me into two days after our check-out, to discuss a billing issue. But not yet gave me any reply, neither replied my email. It’s important to me at least to have a feedback whether my issue was resolved.

The bathroom is a bit old-fashion. The service of the restaurant attached could be more efficient. It is more helpful if there is a microwave in the lobby for guests to use, especially for guests who need to warm babyfood.

There was a delay of around an hour for our room being ready. There was no fridge in the room.

We stayed for 1 night in March 2024. We were here for a concert at L’Amphitheatre which was very close to this hotel. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The ensuite had a bath and shower. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. The location was perfect for us but it is a bit out of town for those wanting to see more of Lyon. Travel to the hotel from the train station (Lyon Part Dieu) was straightforward by bus and reasonable.

The eggs! Also, my room had a heavy musty smell in the evenings. Seemed to go away in the morning???

Everything about the breakfast was excellent except the free range Eggs. There were very very mushy. Seems they were watered down with something and didn’t seem like eggs.

At the breakfast one morning I draw the attention of one of the employees that there were two fly inside the bottle of plenty milk and in the almond milk as well. The employee said she will fix it. I couldn’t believe my eyes when the young lady went to the kitchen with the two bottles then took a spoon and … remove the insect then …. put it back to the buffet… without washing the bottle neither adding new fresh milk inside and everything happened in front of my eyes because my table was in front of the kitchen. Often times I tend to be easy going when a service in one particular hotel wherever I am in the world isn’t at the top of his game .. Not this time ! Somehow I felt betray and my trust violated .. How in the world you can put back at the buffet two bottles that were contaminated with fly !!! Without thinking twice I called the lady upfront I told her that her behavior was unacceptable. The lady tried to denied.. firmly I told her « pls do not embarrassed yourself deeply. I saw everything.. the kitchen as you can see is in front of my table. Admit you mistake and learn from it… » The manager step in and I explained what occurred as well. The reception was informed as well. Trust and confidence are rare than money. They are difficult to obtain and easy to loose. It was shameful to assist to the performance of this employee… I wish & hope the board director will learn from my feedback and make sure this error won’t happen again

There are no supermarkets or shops around.

Location is great, just in front of the hotel there is a bus station that you can easily reach the center within 10 minutes. Super convenient. There’s a huge packing area under the hotel. Very convenient if you’re traveling Ing by car. Rooms are clean and quiet. the bed is very comfortable. The restaurant under the hotel is great. we had our lunch and breakfast there. The quality of food is great. A huge park in front of the hotel.

The location is great, between the beautiful park and the river! Great view from the hotel window. We loved the room size, comfortable beds and clean rooms. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of food items offered. The neighborhood has a lot to offer, including good restaurants. And very friendly and helpful staff.
