Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaWhile everything is perfect I would mention three points to take into account when planning your stay (all related to location, not to the apartment itself): 1. The building does not have an elevator and while the apartment is on the first floor (thus 1 floor up from the ground floor) it could be difficult for someone to walk with the heavy suitcase by the stairs to get to the floor 2. One drawback of the central location is that the windows are open to the quite noisy street with permanent traffic "day and night" and multiple people walking late in the evening , yelling , shouting, laughing etc . So we were unfortunately unable to keep window open at night to get fresh air in. 3. Another point to take into account is a parking. There is a large square nearby, very conveniently located but quite expensive (our parking from 6PM to 10AM would cost us more than 20EUR for evening, night and morning). I would recommend Falaises parking not far from the apartment that cost us 8EUR and which has a cap of 11EUR per 24 hrs. And it is almost impossible to find street parking nearby (street parking are free 7PM to 9 AM).
Almost everything was perfect, the apartment is located in the center, close to all shops and restaurants, as well as sightseeing places. The beds are comfortable and the rooms and kitchen have all that you could need during your stay. The host is very welcoming and ready to provide an answer to all your questions.

RomaniaI think the only think that was missing was the opportunity to have breakfast at the property. But this is not actually a real downside, considering that (1) I knew this before booking and (2) it is very close to several shops, coffee shops, restaurants, boulangeries etc.
Very nice accommodation, located close to the city center (within walking distance). The host was very polite and gave detailed instructions on how to access the apartment. The apartment was clean, tidy, it had clean sheets, towels, dishes, coffee machine, boiling tea pot, oven, private bathroom, wi-fi, good lighting, comfy bed and extendable sofa. There was also a public (paid) parking lot across the street from the building.

Czech RepublicNo A/C in the flat and no ventilation in the bathroom so after shower, all the humid air goes to the bedrooms. The street next to living room's window is quite busy so it's quite noisy from the morning.
Great location, close to the city centre, street parking available around and there's huge square with many parking spaces available, free parking overnight on the streets. The host was very nice and responsive, the flat is modern and comfortable.

The beds were comfortable and it was in a great position to explore Chambery, and get to the train station quickly. We'd highly recommend!!
