Nothing! It’s perfect.

The location. You’re less than five minutes away from the Champs-Élysées. The staff. Every staff person we were in contact with was amazing. Helpful, going that extra step to make our stay special.

The Montesquieu is located just off the Champs Élysées and is within easy reach of public transport that will take you just about everywhere. It is a small but very well run hotel, with a friendly and helpful reception, excellent service from the breakfast team, very comfortable rooms (we were in 402) and a very good breakfast. It is rare to find such an hotel in this part of Paris that has that little extra to make the stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

My only criticism, is no coffee machine, the room only had instant coffee.

Location was great, just a short walk to the Champs Elysee, Metro, Restaurants, Cafes. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helpful . Our room was lovely, top floor and quiet, it had everything we needed for a 2 night stay and a view to the Eiffel Tower.

The location was excellent, just off the champs-Élysées in a very quiet side street. The property itself was very quiet and sound proofed. We had a junior suite which had plenty of room and wardrobe space, arm chairs and a large sofa to spread out on, a full bathroom, full length windows, mini fridge, tea & coffee facilities in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The suite looks exactly like the photos, the decor is beautiful.

Heating controls in the rooms required some input however staff at the hotel were quick to assist.

The hotel was well located, with walkable proximity to a Metro, some tourist locations and shopping areas. Some great restaurants in the area with tasty food as well. Overall the staff made our stay memorable!

Beautiful property in the heart of the city. Close to everything. The room was spacious for paris and tastefully decorated. Loved the staff specially the gentleman who was there in the evening shift who checked me in and showed me around. I dont know his name but he was a true gentleman

Nothing of note really. One observation was that I didn't notice any in-room dining options on their website, so if you're someone who relishes in that amenity and wants in-room dining available at all hours of the day, I would reconfirm with the hotel before booking.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel while I was on vacation. The hotel is situated on a quiet street and is in reasonable walking distance to multiple metro stations, restaurants, cafes, etc. I booked a junior suite and thought the size of the room was comfortable for my stay. Per American standards, the room would be considered a standard "king" sized room (i.e. aprx 300-350 sq ft) which was enough for myself as I was traveling solo. Overall cleanliness, decor, ambiance of both my suite and the hotel were nice. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful throughout the entirety of my time there. I had an early morning arrival time and the staff worked to get me checked in ahead of schedule and offered me coffee and snacks while I rested in the lovely lobby sitting room. They were patient with my small attempts at speaking French and spoke English when my understanding of the language failed me. And while I'm not much of a morning person, when I did take advantage of their breakfast, they had a good variety of options to choose from (i.e. eggs, sausage, pastries, yogurt, cereals, juice, coffee, etc.). I think this hotel is a solid option for those looking for a small, boutique hotel vibe.

At checking in the receptionist made a copy of our debit card saying that it was part of the hotel's policy and quite normal in Paris. When we expressed our scepticism he said that instead a deposit of 500 Euros would cover costs of a possible damage (we might make during our stay) and if we wished to opt for that instead of letting him make a photocopy of our debits card and passports. We did not want to escalate our disagreement so we asked him to tear off the copy and so he did. Whatever the case was it was more than unusual and was a severe disrespect of our sensitive and private data. (We had no objections to making a copy of our passports - name: Schnemann). The case happened 22 September 2023 between 11.00 and 12.00 in the morning.

A very nice butique hotel with privacy. Excellent location, the heart of the city is within walking distance. Quiet and cosy suite, very comfortable king size bed and hearty breakfast on requiest.

The soap by the bath was in a stupid place and difficult to reach whilst in the bath. I think the shampoo and conditioner should be two separate things. The decor was extremely dark for putting on make up.

The breakfast was excellent. The location very central and convenient. The room was fresh and in good condition, good towels and bedlinen and the bed very comfortable.

Staff are hospitable, friendly, professional & attentive round the clock. Rooms are fairly spacious and are nicely designed. Hotel is clean and quiet. Great location, a couple of blocks off Champs Elysees.
