Nothing. All really simply but effective. Staff excellent and the fresh breakfast, sublime. We had dinner in the restaurant, recommended by friends, who joined us, and had the most fabulous dinner.

Lovely room, excellent AC and really comfortable bed. So quiet I slept so well.

It would have been good to have been told about the markets on Saturday because our car ended up being barricaded inside the market space which was embarrassing and inconvenient for us as we were unable to use our car that day. It was also a bit weird that we weren't allowed to have a drink at the restaurant without staying for dinner (even though there were plenty of free tables).

Clean and comfortable room with good air conditioning. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was great.

The rooms were clean and well maintained. However the walls are very thin and we could hear footsteps and every cough and sneeze from the room next to ours.

A very well appointed and comfortable country hotel known for its fine dining. The room was very nice and overlooked the outdoor dining. The village was fascinating and historic.

The standard check-out time of 11am was earlier than I expected, but the hotel was able to accommodate my request for a later check-out for a fee. There was no tea / coffee making facilities in the room.

The rooms are clean and well decorated, but are small and the walls very thin. You can hear everything in the room next to you. The restaurant was disappointing. Maybe it was a bad day, but the choice available in the menu was limited and the food was nothing special.

The staff was kind and polite. The location is very nice.

We likedeverything. A warm welcome on arrival and excellent customer service throughout. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Villereal. The room , whilst simple , has everything you could possibly need . Very big comfortable bed and pillows and everything scrupulously clean . The food was fabulous as was our stay throughout . The hotel is truly dog friendly and our little dog was allowed not only in our room but in public areas too . We would love to return and highly recommend staying here. Thank you to everyone who looked after us so well and made our stay such an excellent experience .

In all honesty there was nothing more we would have asked for, as a result there was nothing we didn't like.

A tranquil end to a fairly hot and sweaty journey. Nicholas took charge of our discomfort with bottles of very welcome cold water, and treats (a bowl of fresh apricots and some biscuits). He also got our luggage up to our room, which was also delightfully cool and well appointed. He showed great care and kindness which was much appreciated.

The hotel is right in the middle of the town and really convenient to everything. If travelling by bus the hotel is just a few minutes from the bus stop to Bergerac.

Staff very helpful, lovely decor and so nice to have the option of a pretty courtyard to sit and have a drink. The lovely market outside the front door on Saturday was a bonus!
