The facilities in the room were not adequate, a coffee machine could be useful. what I really didn't like was the size of the toilet actually you can't sit comfortably. The internet and lighting were poor, but not a problem.

The location is great, you can walk to the city center in 5 minutes. The staff is also super friendly. The breakfast was also great. And the room was clean.

The amenities in the room itself was a little on the basic side, while there were a couple of drink glasses for water, there wasn't a kettle for any hot drinks, which would've been nice in the middle of January. That said, nowhere online does it say the rooms have a kettle so that's more on me for not paying attention. The only other thing that could've been better was the digital television signal, about half the channels were a bit too crusty to watch comfortably. However, why would anyone need to watch much TV in such a beautiful city? So it definitely wasn't a deal breaker, and with the perfectly functioning WiFi, we just watched stuff online instead for the brief occasions we did wanna watch something. Overall, nothing was a deal breaker and it didn't detract from the otherwise perfect experience we both had.

The hotel itself is cozy and clean. It was easy to find having never been in Strasbourg before and all the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room itself was a perfectly comfy size and was very clean. They even left a small booklet in the room featuring local sights and places to eat and how to find them in relation to the hotel which was very helpful. Once the staff explained the WiFi login to us it was easy to sign in and we both found it fast and reliable. The bedding itself was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also clean and the water didn't take long to warm up despite our winter visit. The breakfast - while a little basic in terms of options - was tasty and fresh. The location was great and within a 5-15 minute walking distance to a bunch of big sights and museums, it was very quaint walking along the riverside both in the morning and night that's virtually next to the hotel. Overall, an excellent stay and a place I would recommend and return to myself.

The building is quite old and this results in a creaky staircase.

Great location right next to a beautiful riverside and 5 minutes from the historical city centre. Very nice and polite staff which speaks French, English and German. The room is comfy and relatively spacious.

Impossible to dislike anything.

The room was small but perfect for two. Cosy and cute, temperature can be adjusted with radiator, very clean and perfect storage for suitcases and coats. Staff was so special, kind, polite and helpful; gave us advices on where to eat after 22 (time when we checked in). Cathedral is only few minutes from the hotel. The area is extremely safe if you travel alone whatever gender you are.

Nothing. I knew that most places don't have kettles in rooms so I didn't expect one.

A real gem. Fantastic position , quiet and with wonderful staff. It was easy to get to, either on bus no. 10 or tram A from the station.Very friendly staff speak German and English as well as French. Yes,the room was small but I managed to organise everything well.Clean,great shower, and welcoming. They even gave me a choice of rooms, and let me see them first. A huge breakfast was at additional cost, but there was plenty of everything- croissants baguettes ,eggs,meats, cheeses yoghurts,fruits,cereals etc. If you only wanted a cup of coffee they would make it up for you separately. Very generous with answering questions, giving suggestions on places to eat, helping me with my fractured french , and generally caring for their guests.The staff go above expectations to help their guests feel welcome. A great place to stay.

Although most of the staff were kind and very helpful, the young man in charge of our breakfast on Sunday morning was missing for some time, and when he finally arrived appeared as tired and not in the mood to help much.

Lovely little hotel very well located to access city centre and historical sights. The room was simple but comfortable. Also the hotel was very quiet and as it was located in a side street it did not suffer from noise at night. Several restaurants within a 10 min walk too. Also the staff were super friendly and the desk was always manned. Finally it was useful that they had a lockable left luggage room.

I liked everything about the hotel! Location is excellent for exploring the city, the room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, the staff was very nice.
