The bedroom lighting was too dim. The 2 wall switches operated the same light although there were other wall lights which I could not find the witches for. For non-French (and over 60s maybe), so explanation on getting the WIFI started (even a step-by-step guide for Smartphone users.

Bedroom and shower/WC were all fine, everything functioned as it should. Breakfast was excellent in quality and choice. Most outstanding of all were the very friendly and helpful staff, and I did test them. It has to be said I speak French and spoke French with the staff all the time so I did not test their English. The Campanile a short walk away also had excellent buffet food.

All day staffing of the reception would be an improvement.

The hotel is out of the town, Cahors. We wanted to be in town to visit a friand and did not plan to rent a car, The first day we had to rent a taxi. However, after a day the staff helped us find a free, departmental bus service that took us into town and to the train station.

Breakfast was disappointing for the cost, very basic. The hotel is quite hard to find. It is set back from the road and not visible. There is a large sign, but I was looking for the hotel and not a sign.

For an overnight stop it was very good. Lots of parking space and the gate is locked at night. On the outskirts of the town and nice and quiet, which suited me. Friendly staff member who spoke very little English, but we got by with our limited knowledge of each other’s language.

We booked the hotel last minute so wasn't expecting it to be really good. It was a little difficult to find but once we did find it there was plenty of easy parking. The staff were very good when we arrived and changed our room from the top floor to one by the reception as there was no lift and I cannot manage the stairs, and although we were right by reception a,nd the parking was right outside our window it was not at all noisy and we both had a very good nights sleep. Room was clean and the shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. Only thing we couldn't find was a hair dryer but I am sure if we asked at reception they would have given us one to use. Breakfast was buffet and there was plenty of food. All in all a nice refreshing stay.

The signeage needs improving, quite easy to drive past as the hotel stands back from the road, behind an auto servicing business.

The hotel is almost 3kms from the centre of Cahors and is not really suitable for anyone without any form of transport.

Great room with airco which was very nice in the hot summer weather. The staff were friendly. The room was very clean and the bathroom was everything we needed. directlky in front of the hotel is a busstop which brings you to the train station or many other locations.

no elevator. guys at desk took up bags. Cahors is great and this is a very economical way to see it. no restaurants within walking distance but the town is close.

Hotel was slightly dated but OK. Hotel setting is a bit dire as it is surrounded by car parking but once in we didn't even notice and compensated by its convenient location on the edge of town for travelling on the next morning.

Young man on reception was very helpful, providing a little extra service to my partner who had injured himself on holiday. Hotel had everything we needed for an overnight stay, including easy access to it and free car parking. Clean comfortable rooms and more than adequate breakfast. Excellent value for money.
