You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsWe arrived at 4.15pm, the automatic check in machine was not working so we called up the number on the note posted on the door. We were told to wait till 5pm when the reception opens. It was cold and rainy and we drove the whole day. Not very welcoming and convenient. So my husband called the emergency number and the lady in the restaurant opened the reception and checked us in. This was after half an hour since we arrived. This lady was the one sitting inside the (closed) restaurant and I'm sure she saw us when we arrived. She waited till we called up and told her we refused to wait till 5pm and only then came out to check us in.

BelarusBedbugs; reception works only till 8pm, so when we found insects there was noone to ask to replace the room; receptionist doesn't speak english unfortunately; not very clean (there was cookie package under the bed on a second floor) ; poor breakfast (even no vegetables in summer); pay attention that there is no air conditioner and it can be very hot in august.

United KingdomThe bedroom and the reservation process. I made a reservation for the family, we are 4 ( two adults and two children) and the option given by the Booking app, was to book two bedrooms. One for the adults and another one for the children. 1. Upon arrival, we checked our reservation at the hotel, and we only had one available room, with two single beds for 4 people. 2. The consequence of that, was that we didn't get a good sleep. Since the beds were far too narrow for four People. 3. We expect to pay only, for the bedroom that was available and used and not to be charged for a room that although was booked we did not got access to it. We engage with the people at the hotel and they confirmed that we would only be charged for, one room.
The location was close to the road with easy access.

United KingdomBooking.com advised check in was 16.30 pm however no one there to check us in , self check in didn't work and was made to wait outside in minus 1 temperature, was finally checked in 40 mins later and was told that I was wrong it's at 17.00 , showed the girl the email, just a shrug , this time staying we had a convenient room , sadly only 2 plug sockets, one of which is in the bathroom, no usb points , 2 small pillows on the double bed , and banging and clattering all night, 2 small towels in the bathroom, not great, might be staying elsewhere in future
