How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. The location, beautiful rooms with fabulous views, excellent staff! The small garden is very nice and we enjoyed to rest by the pool in the evening.

We felt, at times, that there wasn’t enough staff around, such as in the bar area next to the pool. The kids sleeping area was in the entrance corridor to the apartment which again wasn’t ideal.
The location is fantastic - practically on the beach and a short distance to some lovely shops and restaurants. Also well positioned to explore other parts of Corsica.

Location was beautiful, close to everything you need in Algajola. The décor inside was beautiful and the pool is a great spot to relax after the beach.

We had a mouldy shower. Noisy music from a restaurant across the road. Bit out of the hotels control but went on tilp11.30 pm.
Good location, 2 mins walk across the road to the beach. Nice rooms

Very nice staff, management and owner. Nicely decorated, practical apartments fully equipped with a modern kitchen. Family friendly yet chic. Wonderful beach a 2 minute stroll from the hotel. Excellent restaurants in & around Algajola. This place reminds me of Camps Bay, South Africa but with a more pleasant water temperature. Super EV friendly place with Type2 as well as standard power outlets made available. Without a doubt the best accommodation during our 15 day road trip around Corsica 😃👍

It's a very new hotel, so there where a few "unfinished" details here and there, but nothing that could cause problems. Routines and procedures for the staff were also new, but it do not effect our overall positive rating of our stay.
A very fine hotel, new and well decorated. The rooms are nice and spacious, and with a superb view the both sea and pool. We were very positive surpriced with the high standard, overall! The staff (reception, restaurant and bar) and their service and kindness is also worth mentioning.

Everything… if you believe there is a paradise on earth, then this is the place. from the apartment to the facilities to the amazing beach to the beautiful people working at the hotel that make you feel welcome and are always happy to talk to you and give you advice as to what to do or where to eat. we are very happy to have stayed here and hope one day to come back. thank you so much everyone for this amazing time.

If you’ve ever been to a 5 star hotel (yes, I know it is not a hotel), you will get nothing of that experience here. And it’s all down to a feeling you’re not welcome and many small problems along the way. Even in August, the hotel/residence seems to be running at half effort with bar, spa and often even reception being empty. Everything seems to be a problem here. Breakfast before flight? You’re 15 minutes too early. A restaurant booking? They forgot. The beach towels? You need to use them the entire stay which means they will look like rags towards the end. It’s neither a hotel nor serviced apartments. Not worth the money for sure.
The location and the building are nice, rooms are comfortable. The indoor pool is a nice addition.

The hotel provides breakfast, which is a good, large spread of hot and cold dishes in a buffet style. Though at €20 per head ... ie €60 for the three of us was exceptionally expensive. Croissants, pain au chocolate, and coffee from the cafe next door at less than €10 and fruit from the supermarket - a much better option.
Great aparthotel situated in a lovely seaside town of Algajola. Opulently built, 5* hotel, with all the facilities one would expect from 5* accommodation and price. The room was beautifully designed and appointed, with kitchen, breakfast bar, lounge area, balcony, bedroom and bathroom. The only surprise was the bunk-beds, hidden behind a sliding door ... A little inconvenient for our 19 year old daughter (more equipped for kids than adults. The pool, spa, and gym were all of excellent quality. The roof-top restaurant is a wonderful place to see the sweep of the bay of Algajola and the beach, though it would benefit from some kind of shading. There is no shade at all. The menu is fairly limited, but all dishes cooked to order and are of exceptional quality and presentation, and are reasonably priced for the quality of the food. They are more in the style of the local tapas dishes, instead of full meals.
