I was in an attic room which was great for me but maybe don't book that room type if you are taller than 180cm (6ft) because one side of the room will have a slant from the roof.

The hotel was really close to the Bayeux train station, less than 5 min walk, and the staff was lovely to let me check in early. The rooms are a nice size with comfortable beds and breakfast is a typical french breakfast with coffee and pastries. The hotel is not too far from the bus that takes you to Omaha beach or other WWII memorial sites if you are there for the history. Definitely would stay again and highly recommend it.

We were in the new annex. Rooms are perfect, brand new and spacious. Balcony is picking up the sun at the end of the day. Great for a sundowner before heading for dinner

I was expecting a coffee or tea pot in the room, but we had to go to the main building to get a communal coffee machine and tea pot. No markets in the immediate vicinity.

We stayed at the annex area. Quite and clean with nice view to the garden. The room was also spacious. When asked about bike riding, the hotel communicated with info by email, which helped me to be able to book in advance.

We stayed in one of the Orchard Rooms which was spacious, tastefully decorated with modern decor, immaculately clean, and had a lovely balcony with table and chairs overlooking the orchard. The whole place had a very welcoming and peaceful feel. The location was very convenient; easy to find with parking outside our room, and just a 5 minute walk into town. On our first evening the receptionist advised us that restaurants in Bayeux would be very busy due to it being Easter Weekend, and kindly reserved a table on our behalf at a lovely restaurant. We hope to stay again in future!

We stayed in the main building and loved it, it has so much charm about it but the best part where the staff so helpful and always smiling and happy. The breakfast is wonderful. The location is great a very short walk to everything in town and only a short drive to the beaches of D Day.

A struggle to find anything not to like. Wi-Fi was a little inconsistent in the annex, but fine in the main château.

A delightful, elegant château very close to the centre of Bayeux and only a few minutes walk from the old city, Tapestry and Cathedral. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Lots of historic streets and sites, with several museums and exhibits nearby. A wonderful, friendly welcome. The proprietor and staff alike were charming and helpful. We stayed in the modern Orchard annex which was delightfully appointed, spacious and comfortable. Access to and from the hotel was straightforward and convenient. Continental breakfast was very good.

Our shower was very slippery, so be careful. There is no elevator so if you stay in yhe main building you will have to lug all of your stuff up to the first floor ( that would be the second floor in America). Our friends were one more story up, on the second floor and that was a nightmare for them to get their luggage up teo serious flights of stairs. The new separate rooms next to the main building might be a better option for older couples.

The grounds are world class. Great staff and great location. Our room, the Utah was really big and really nice. We had wine on the grounds and we loved looking at the immaculately kept garden.
