I had read about no coffee/fridge facilities in the room. Didn't bother us too much but access to coffee in room would be a bonus.

Great location, walking distance to the train station. We had beautiful views of the garden from our first floor room. Felt very comfortable and quiet. Easy walk to shops and restaurants.

This is a stunning property! We stayed in the Orchard rooms that are on the property but not in the main house. The website pictures are totally accurate and even better in person! The grounds are gorgeous! The young ladies at reception were very welcoming and helpful! The location is within walking distance of sites you would want to visit and Normandy beaches are within easy driving distance. We would stay here again and not hesitate in recommending this property!

Nothing. This is an excellent place to stay! The only addition that would have been nice would have been an in-room coffee maker or electric kettle (hot pot) for boiling water for instant coffee/tea.

Our 4-night stay at Domaine de Bayeux was exceptional in all respects. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was larger than a typical UK hotel room and perfectly clean. Breakfast was complete with hot and cold items. We would stay hear again! It was a short and convenient 5-7 minute walk to the center of town.

This is a beautiful property in the center of Bayeux. It is walkable to the city center, the Cathedral and the meeting point for our D-Day tour with overlord tours. We stayed in a room in the orchard section and had a beautiful view of the gardens. The woman at reception was kind and helpful. The breakfast was the best on our trip. Well worth it! Highly recommend.

We loved everything, but for one important detail. The Wi-Fi in the orchard rooms doesn’t work well. A nice hotel employee tried to help us and it did work for a while, but so frustrating when it didn’t. I spoke to another guest at breakfast who mentioned that she couldn’t get Wi-Fi either.

It was absolutely gorgeous! The old building is lovely with beautiful tile and windows looking out on the lush landscape- I’d love to come back when the linden trees are in bloom. We stayed in a newer, spacious orchard room with a beautiful view from the deck. Our beds were comfortable with luxurious sheets and comforter and the shower was perfect! I always wonder why most hotel showers lack a shelf or basket for my shampoo, etc- this shower had a basket so I didn’t have to put products on the floor.

I had to go outside to main building every morning to get coffee as they did not supply electric kettle in Orchard rooms. Not sure why but was told manager did not want to do this. However, I was told they would supply one if asked but this was after my stay.

Very much liked that the hotel had parking and was within easy walking distance of the centre of Bayeux. Our Orchard room was spacious very well equipped with a gorgeous walk-in shower. Breakfast in the main hotel was excellent and good value. Very friendly staff.

The only drawback is if you are arriving late at night ...they close at 9pm so you will need to notify them before coming in that late. We got in at 8 pm and the lady told us that they close the front desk at 9 pm. They do give you a phone number to call...but sometimes it is difficult to call when you have an international cell phone.

The room we were given was amazing...very modern and clean. (Orchard room). The breakfast was quite decent and was in a beautiful room overlooking the wonderful backyard. The staff was very friendly. We wished we could have stayed another night or two to enjoy the hotel and the quaint town.
