Beautiful property, Chinon was minutes away by car. Host had excellent recommendations, room was quiet and comfortable. Host was always available for any questions or assistance.

Lovely cozy room restored and decorated in style. Easy access to Chinon and welcoming hosts Ronan & Vero. They’ve created a great little refuge with a lovely outdoor space for an apero and you can even go for a swim in their pool in summer. We loved it. Ronan was generous with his recommendations. We ate in L’oceanic in Chinon which was fabulous and went on to visit Chateaux de l’Isette which is open in summer only but we were lucky it was open for us! And the breakfast was out of this world. We will definitely come back if passing close by and recommend to anyone in the neighbourhood.

Charming country bed and breakfast property with delightful attentive hosts. Room with rustic beams and very comfortable bed. Use of swimming pool with towels provided. The breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. Very convenient location for visiting the chateaux in the region and pretty town of Chinon. Good stopover on the way up to Caen.

can’t think of anything I didn’t like about it.

it’s our 5th visit and we just love it there, so quiet and peaceful. the bed was more comfortable than mine at home!! the decor is lovely and spotlessly clean. Vero and Roman make you so welcome and nothing too much trouble. We’re definitely coming again and next time for longer.

If there's one thing I would recommend is a mosquito screen on the window, so that it can be safely opened at night.

We stayed in this charming place during our honeymoon and it was very nice! The room is in a converted medieval barn: it is very spacious, decorated with style and care, and features two separate sitting areas. The breakfast was more than ample - with plenty of options to choose from - one of the best we had in France. What makes the place really special is its owners - Vero and Ronan. To give only one example: Vero kindly did our laundry for us and didn't even charge for it! Overall, an unforgettable experience!

Domaine de Givre is situated amongst vineyards and farmland a short distance from chinon.Its location being very tranquil and relaxing. The two rooms available are in an old out building and have been renovated to a very high standard with a lot of thought put to the finishing touches.Our room was very spacious,clean and comfortable and also contained a fridge ,kettle and coffee machine.The breakfast was brought to us each morning and was a tray laden with a huge selection of very beautifully presented foods.Fabulous.There is outdoor seating and also a swimming pool available. Our hosts Ronan and Vero were extremely welcoming and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable.

We were looking for a location outside of Chinon where we could relax and explore this part of the Loire Valley. We were not disappointed. Our hosts were lovely . The room is beautifully decorated with some private outdoor space. It was quite warm during our visit and the pool provided a nightly respite before dinner. And breakfast.... thank you so much for the abundance of fresh, local products. You're home is wonderful and warm.

Breakfast was the best we'd had in our four weeks of travel. There was everything anyone would want. Spacious and well kept including the grounds and swimming pool. If there is a higher ranking than "super" host, we would say that was Ronin. We would give this our highest recommendation.

Better pillows. They were a bit uncomfortable but didn't detract from the experience.

We could not reccommend this accomodation more highly nor its very convenient and yet beautiful location next to Chinon in the Loire Valley. Ronan and Vero , the owners we utterly charming and very very helpful. We simply loved everything about our stay!!

All was really good.

Smiling faces to welcome you are the most important thing and that was perfect. Lovely couple, very attentive and fun to talk to. The room was wonderful and so was breakfast. The area it self is the countryside but with no more than 15 drive from Chinon. Wonderful scenery with vineyards on one side and a pool inside. Free parking.

we loved everything!

The place is incredible! An old farm house and two spacious rooms in a 15th century atmosphere. Amazing place . The owners are so nice. They give you the feeling you are special and have the best recommendations. we really loved them. Breakfast is homey and tasty and certainly not like a regular continental breakfast. I recommend this place to everyone who visits the Loire valley and wants to feel the atmosphere of agricultural life with aristocratic history. I’m sure I’ll go back if I ever visit the valley again

Welcoming multilingual couple who went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. A generous breakfast served in the room rather than their house "because of covid". Lovely location 3 kms from the town centre: 15th century property sensitively renovated and attractively decorated/furnished. Chinon, and thus the property, is well located for exploring the Loire valley. Very relaxing stay.
