The dinner menus are a bit limited. Nonetheless we were able to find selections we were happy with and the food is excellent.

Our room was in the main château building and it was fabulous. Very clean, very comfortable, well appointed. All the staff are professional yet very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was incredible both in the range of products offered and the quality. We loved using the bikes provided and explored the spectacular (and immense) property.

Was slightly disappointed with the restaurant. Based on the quality of the chateaux you would have expected a higher caliber restaurant. Food was overpriced, but staff were and customer experience was great .

Absolutely stunning accommodation, beautiful location and a very relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful spa and had a wonderful spa treatment, lovely pool. Completely dog friendly .

Everything was exceptional. Real paradise. Above expectation.

Serenity and peaceful place that is calling you to calm down, take a deep breath and just being there. Surrounded by pure nature, several small lakes, ducks and cows, it is amazing energy and wellbeing. The castle and separate villas are exceptional and the assistance from lovely employees are everywhere.

Domaine des Etangs is a unique place in a unique position. This was our second time staying in one of the cottages, this time with our two dogs. We have the amenities of a 5 star hotel with the privacy of our own cottage.

We stayed in the autumn suite , absolutely sumptuous, large screen tv , large bathroom, him and hers , fantastic shower and bath , massive bed comfortable , lovely lounge area , equipped with a kitchen area , everything you could want , spotlessly clean , ist class , restaurant food ist class , wonderful grounds and games room , staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you , not a pretentious place and if you want privacy and relaxation, this is the place , 1st class

Breakfast was fabulous, if a little on the sweet side but it was SO good. One improvement would be more savoury/hot breakfast options and there definitely shouldn’t be a supplement charge for eggs/omelettes. This seems very unnecessary given the sheer level of abundance in every other area of the hotel.

Beautiful extensive grounds with fun art installations all over the property. It is steeped in history with a very modern vibe. The suite we stayed in was stunning and beyond perfect in every sense. The attention to detail just wowed continuously. Food was creative and very special. Surprise after surprise during our dinner. The atmosphere is exclusive but still comfortable and casual. The staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. We had our dog with us and he was made to feel welcome too. We didn’t have children with us but the facilities on offer for little ones are wonderful. Made me want to be a kid again! Can you tell I loved it? It has to be my favourite hotel EVER. I hope I get to return one day.

Very minor issues, the spa pool could really do with being heated, as could the outdoor pool. The restaurant food is excellent but you only get a set menu. Could do with an option.
