Restaurant closed on Sundays but the staff arranged food trays that we ended up eating in a conference room where we met many other guests in the same situation, all of us around a huge table which ended up to be a very lively dinner with everyone participating in the conversation! The hotel should have a nice bar area to allow some food when the restaurant is closed or if people want a lighter option. It seems to be more oriented to meetings and events and it lacks an atmosphere more oriented towards individuals.

Arrived at Breakfast an hour before it ended, and no eggs or toast available, We managed to have them bring us some eggs but no toast.

Lovely grounds. Very comfortable and pleasant. The highlight of our stay was the wonderful reception staff.

Nobody explained that you have to carry all your luggage from the parking to the hotel which is not practical as there are a lot of stones and far from the entrance of the hotel, so me as a woman alone with my two children and a small dog had to do everything alone ,as help was refused by the reception. The young lady at the reception was rude.

The coffee. Wherever I go I need good coffee. A proper coffee machine is definitely needed in the restaurant and maybe little pod coffee machines in the bedrooms too. Also conditioner as well as shampoo in the bathroom.

No ventilation in dining rooms , very stuffy when more than a few people were eating.

Always fun to stay in a renovated chateau, our group had mixed reviews of the food. My lamb was superb.

Smell in the room, the linens and towels were not fresh, like they were stored in an old wardrobe for centuries, awful breakfast, where you should boil the eggs yourself with a strange machine, nobody to help you, coffee is not really a coffee.

There were three issues reguarding our room. 1. Our bed had conforters more sutable for winter and they were too warm in these summer days. 2. Our Superior triple room did not have a single drower ( not even part of the night tables) where to keep smal objects or few clothing idems, it did provivide some hanging space though. 3 the water boiler was missing. We did not communicate to the staff of these issues, for our own reasons, and we think they would have been addressed, at least partially, since the staff appeard to be kind.

An enchanting chateau for sure and spectacular grounds. Our high points were the confort of the materesses, pillows and the quality of the linens. The decoration of the room was in very good taste, the staff was friendly and we felt our dog was welcome. We were there only two nights and were very busy visiting with our local friends. With few minor changes, we could easily recommend this chateau and return ourseves.

The property is very new but key processes seem not to be working. As of 9:00 the breakfast buffet was completely empty (no exaggeration, there was literally nothing left). The staff in charge was (obviously) overwhelmed and went to the next supermarket/ boulanger to organize more food. The whole restaurant was left a complete mess, there were dirty dishes everywhere, no more clean cups, etc. Of course we got reimbursed, but such bad planning doesn’t fit the expectations that we had given the very nice setting and location.
