A clean, bright room in characterful building

That the room looked out onto an inside courtyard. We were lucky for the airco as we would not have been able to open the windows. The building was very nicely decorated and cleverly designed.

The location is excellent for the route we were on, parking was easy, the owner extremely helpful and kind. The town is pretty with some good restaurants.

Room was very comfortable. Bathroom beautiful with lots of lovely products. Hotel was easy to find. Easy to walk to restaurants.

There is no elevator in the building so climbing all of the stairs was cumbersome with our suitcases. There were no dresser drawers so we had to "live" out of our suitcases. Not that big a deal but would have been nice to be able to put away more of our things rather than just hanging some items up.

Accomodation was very nice and updated. Owner/manager was very personable and available to us as necessary. Breakfast every morning was very good. Location and parking were convenient to hotel and area activities.

Parking can be an issue, but we were lucky and parked on the street in front of our room.

Everything exceeded expectations, and Marie was exceptionally helpful and hospitable. The rooms were delightful, with suitably Gallic character, and the breakfast - based on Marie’s local delights - was delicious. We wouldn’t hesitate in stopping there again.

Douce Nuits is a lovely BnB! The rooms are stylish, well proportioned and very comfortable, the location is ideal and the breakfast is delicious.

Nothing to complain. Maybe a little gesture/discount if you sleep alone instead of two.

Quiet and serene place. Slept like a baby :) loved the hostess, and the breakfast was great, even with home made yoghurt.

I prefer on-site parking but this is often difficult in a town centre. There is a nearby car park which was free which makes a nice change. The parking situation nearly put me off booking but I am so glad we stayed here.

This was an overnight stop on our way home and booked at the last minute. What a fantastic surprise. We had the apartment with 2 rooms and a double room. It was the cleanest I’ve ever seen a hotel and beautifully decorated. A real treat to stay here and I would like to go back. Maria was very friendly and helpful.

the check in window finished at 7pm. that was stressful for travellers.

An absolutely wonderful find! Marie was so warm and welcoming and even booked a lovely restaurant for us. The accommodations were beautiful/ very much felt like a boutique hotel. Highly recommend.

Everything was really positive about Douce Nuits, Marie, front of the house and owner is such a fantastic host. Apartment was well equipped, A/C great, breakfast with home made products....I'll be staying here next time

The decor and building was beautiful, a really tranquil setting. Marie the lovely host, supplied a gluten free alternative for myself at breakfast to accompany a large variety choice of fruits, cereals, yoghurts, cheeses, breads and pastries, teas and coffees. it was very much appreciated. A couple of minutes walk to the centre.

We loved our stay. Everything perfect. Marie has created an exceptional place in the quiet wine town of Nuits Saint George. The rooms are spacious, stylish and comfortable. And the breakfast is outstanding, served in a stunning atrium filled with tropical plants. We would have liked to have stayed longer than one night to explore the vineyards on the edge of town.

Parking was a little expensive at €20, but very secure behind an electric gate.

Ideal overnight stop en route to the Ardeche, quiet location but a short stroll from the lovely town centre. Large, comfortable room, excellent breakfast and Marie the owner was very friendly and very patient with our rusty French!
