Sometimes one could hear the other guest walking the stairs. During our stay there was a distinct noice of one person who always walked with a very loud and heavy step the stairs- also quite late. I have a good sleep- so I don t really mind. But maybe a little notice for the guests to b considered about their noice in the staircase could be an idea ?

The location was fantastic! The Metro Line 1 and the park close by- very good.

Location super, just opposite the chateau du Vincennes. Good restaurants and bars in the area. The Indian restaurant next door looks excellent, sadly we didn't have time. Quaint hotel, friendly helpful staff. The room was small, and the bathroom minute but everything was very well laid out and it wasn't too cramped. The hotel looks like it was renovated fairly recently with a quirky mediaeval style. Breakfast was ok, standard continental breakfast, nothing special.

Great location, next to metro and RER stations and close to central Paris. The surrounding area is super nice with nice shops and next to Vincennes château. Room is not big but ideal for 2 nights.

There is no lift, so if you have a room on the higher floors it is a bit of a trek with luggage.

Tastefully decorated room. Quiet when the double glazing was closed. Great location near restaurants and markets, very safe area. So much nicer than central Paris yet, only 2 stops from Gare de Lyon on the RER A.

Parking was a bit of a challenge. While hotel offers a remote parking option, this is closed on Sundays and public holidays, so while we thought we had something booked, we had no access to this parking on arrival late on Christmas day & then Boxing day. We were fortunate to find a parking in the street for the first night and then transfer to another parking facility early the next day (as street parking is expensive during the day). While shower room was clean, the shower head had no means of adequate wall attachment that allowed proper use. The room safe was locked on arrival and despite bringing this to the attention of the day staff, they were unable to open it. No further effort was made to address this during our stay. Day reception (Sofijan) was in fact quite dismissive in general.

Great location overlooking the Chateau Vincennes. Close to main RER link with 15min commute into central Paris. Great food and drink options in the area. Night reception staff (Marionella & Musa) very friendly and went out of their way to address restaurant, parking and commute questions on arrival and kindly offered to store a cooler with cheese in the hotel fridge for safe keeping during our stay. Rooms small, but clean. Despite concerns outlined below, this is a good value option in a great location.

The breakfast was good and plentiful and it would have been perfect with a better bread.

Came here for the location (perfect for visiting Disneyland AND Paris) will come back for the character of the building and the view, as well as the the service and professionalism of the staff.

Minor detail: When showerhead was in socket, the water sprayed all over the bathroom, so had to hold it.
