A bit run-down, no reception after 1930, and the noises from the cavernous, empty hallway were weirdly amplified and totally audible inside our ground floor room.

It is on the beach; the room was relatively large and clean, and the electric heating worked very well. Reasonably priced.

It was really comfortable, the room was spacious and the bathroom was super clean. The staff I spoke to were friendly. The location was good, close to the central station and not too far from the river. The TV was good too - access to basically just released movies!

Breakfast was quize simple. Every day the same things. Location was good but some rooms are located above the bars so they are noisy.

The photos of the room are taken using a panoramic view so the rooms were much small than represented online. The breakfast was great, except for the fruit salad. The fruit salad was really bad, and it might be better just to serve whole fresh fruit instead.

The hotel was situated in a good location, close to what we needed and plenty of places to eat, public transport, the train and the shopping mall, if you need it. The customer service was very friendly, helpful and we could communicate easily.

There was a loose plug cover, and the cable for the kettle didn’t reach the plug socket from the table so you had to put it on the floor. Could do with two pillows per bed.

We ended up arriving early and they were able to let us in the room early which was really useful as we were tired. The room was clean and cool. Very good shower and plenty of phone charging points.

Weekend staff not very helpful, re Wi-Fi access [told not available]; Parking [told not available, and when asked for parking nearby, hung up]. Eventually received parking arrangements, following email. Week day staff were very helpful.

The receptionist. She couldn’t find my payment to booking.com and insisted I stay until she confirmed the payment despite me providing the receipt and booking confirmation showing the payment. Eventually I just walked out.

The place is just sad, it resembles a youth hostile. Everything about it is bare bones. The staff barely speaks English so are of little help. They are inflexible and want to change extra for every small thing.

Nothing to report - I loved the stay.

The room was very good alhough one of the electrical sockets where the desk was didn't work. I reported that to reception and they helpfully gave some extension cords. I think the fuse box needs to be checked.

Very helpful and friendly staff with good English. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily with fresh bed sheets etc. throughout our stay. The location is very convenient for a large selection of restaurants and near to an amazing, large park with free zoo and botanical gardens. The metro was close by so we were able to visit the museum and other parts of the city easily, also the railway station is within walking distance. The Metro was easy to use and a €2 ticket allows you to travel for up to an hour, which is great if you accidentally go the wrong way.

I came to Lyon for work, hence I needed to charge my phone and laptop every night. After the first night I discovered that the power outlets above the night tables don't work if the light is off, as I missed my alarm in the morning (my phone died) and almost got late to the conference. Here, I am not complaining about the bad design of the electric system in the room, but about the fact that not only I wasn't warned, the staff on the morning after was also completely unaware of the room's "feature". It took a couple of days to be able to speak with someone aware of it, and they said that the staff that runs night shifts are students and they don't know everything. Well, they should (and this is the managers' responsibility). In addition, the lift is slow and the lift's door at my floor was blocked for a couple of days. Finally, the WiFi requires a new registration every day. The place is clearly poorly maintained and misses all the little comforts that wouldn't cost much but would demonstrate that they care.

The hotel was in a good location considering where I had to go every day of my stay (Lyon Congress Center). It has one metro stop and multiple bus stops at a walkable distance so it's well connected to the city center too.

We had no aircondition for 2 days. They just put fans. We told them said they couldn't do anything. I had to spend 2 hours with Booking in order for them to change us rooms.Really bad customer service.
