The fact that there is a casino right in the most beautiful part and changes the whole atmosphere Should swop location with restaurant.

There is no real private parking secured which is a bit surprising for this nice hotel that includes casino - but we found one solution thanks to the director 😊

There was nothing that I didn’t like. The rooms were fine, but a little dated.

A bit of a one off! Probably originally built in response to the thermal springs, it has a superb atrium, mostly filled with gaming machines! We had an excellent evening meal and the breakfast was good

The breakfast was shocking. Nothing was re stocked. The hot food that was there was cold. No cold milk available for cereal. Hard to get someone to address the issues. Not worth 12 euros.

    Lovely spacious room.

A very different place to stay, in a very pretty town.

The meal wasn't great, but adequate. Not enough power sockets in the room, extension cable needed, in your case. Slippery bath, if taking a shower. No grab rail on the wall. The carpet was a little faded in places.

This hotel is a must to see. Very large, jaded, spa hotel, propped up by a casino. An insight in to past glories. Our room was huge, with double aspect windows and good curtains and views over the park. Amazing, old style, restaurant and bar area, with good, young, helpful, staff on reception and in the restaurant. Internally it must have been incredible, it it's prime, with tiers of balconies, with rooms opening on to them. A good breakfast offering with plenty of quality products to choose from. The casino didn't make any difference to our stay.

No real moans. Perhaps the hotel could be described as 'faded glory'. It needs a makeover and some of the areas are looking tired.

Pleasant staff. Spacious bedroom. Lift (elevator). Good restaurant for dinner. Ideal location for visiting this small town. Free parking across the road. It has a casino in the building but as my wife and I are not gamblers it wasn't a plus for us but if one likes to have a play on one armed bandits or other electronic devices that take your money then it would be a bonus. However, if you dine in the restaurant, you get ten credits to spend in the casino. So, we used the credits which soon were swallowed up and we did not buy any more.

Directions were a little dodgy! The parking is a public car park across the road from the hotel.

The hotel was in the town and had lovely grounds where you could enjoy a drink. The rooms are large and comfortable with air conditioning. We had a lovely view over the park. Restaurant was good and the food and wine lovely. Breakfast was varied with a good choice.

The corridors / access to the rooms could be better ventilated and well-kept; it does not fit with the rest of the hotel.

It was a surprise to have a casino right inside the hotel! Super nice to see an old and historic building being still used; it feels like you are inside the Gand Hotel Budapest (the movie). 100% recommend the breakfast - most delicious we ever had in a hotel.

No room fridge/minibar, no English tv. Evening menu very restricted and very average. Call me old fashioned but when I order beef tartare I don’t expect it to be DIY, I expect the chef to balance the ingredients to a taste experience, not to present me with raw beef, egg yolk and a selection of things to add. Just lazy!

Central, easy parking. Grand building, nice view. Comfortable bed, hot shower. All the basics right at a fair price.

Salies is possibly the worst signposted town I have encountered in France (where I live). Loads and loads of hotels, and no signs anywhere indicating where any of them is. Also no signs to the exit roads connecting the town to motorways. So spent 50 minutes tracking down the hotel and, in the morning, wasted a further 20 trying route after route in an effort to get out.

    All fine.

Room was shabby looking. Worn out carpets, bed quilt looked dirty every where on the walls were scratches, bathroom walls were chapped, could barely fit through shower doors, no small fridge or shampoo or shower gel, clumpy mattress and clumpy pillows. The room needed an upgrade and renovation. Felt like it was not worth the price. And lift was out of order

The restaurant is out dated, the room could do with a good coat of paint, & the shower needs modernising. In fact the building, which is beautiful, in which the hotel is located could do with renovating. This however would mean the temporary closure of the hotel, which would affect the local economy. The Casino needs modification too.

The menu in the restaurant is well thought out, choices of wine good, staff attentive & friendly. The room was comfortable & clean.
