close to Rossi bus opera terminal, close to Galeries Lafayette, many restaurants choices nearby, hotel agreed a late checkout to 1pm as my flight is in evening.

Very well located hotel for shopping & good food. They were nice & granted us late check-out & room was available Our flight was late. The personel was very nice, friendly & helpful. Great location, tons of shopping and restaurants right outside, and easy metro access. Walking distance to interesting attractions. We needed to see a doctor and the staff were super helpful, making arrangements and providing directions to the (after hours) pharmacy.

Our room was smaller than the room we had booked and the bathroom could be modernised with a new, more modern shower.

The location is excellent with numerous restaurants, bars, shops and public transport nearby. The room was nice and the bed very comfortable.

You can only take the lift up from the ground floor, all other levels just have the down button. The heater was on (don't know why) the first night, we couldn't find the switch (turned out it's high up near the ceiling)

room clean, well equipped and spacious with good views. love the little touch of the daily cakes and biscuits. breakfast good variety, reasonable price, the gentleman in charge works very hard although he barely speaks English. hotel close to everything and staff very helpful (one of us lost luggage at the airport. staff helped phoning airport and airlines, offered comfort and advice) and quick to response to any requests/problems.

Amazing location on Rue La Fayette - like a 3 min walk to Galeries Lafayette. Easy to walk to so many attractions from this hotel. Rooms were comfy and clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We had the buffet breakfast on one morning of our stay and it was lovely. From pastries to fruit, to toast and bacon and eggs..

The room had a particular smell, not bad, and you would stop smelling it once used to it, but it was a shock each time we entered the room. Other than this, the stay was perfect.

We were looking for a hotel near the opera, and Excelsior had very good rates and reviews in Booking. We were surprised and the place is very nice indeed. They provide bottles of fresh water everyday and restock tea and coffee. The electric kettle was cleaned before our stay (it smelled like vinegar inside, it's good to know they clean it, we boiled water once and it was like new), that's very much appreciated, knowing some guests have awful practices. The room size was good and the staff very friendly.

I booked a family room with an extra bed for my teenage son. But the bed is smaller than twin size. One can easily fall off the bed if not turning carefully.

This hotel is close to the metro station. There are many restaurant around.
