I was surprised to find the only oven was a countertop microwave oven — maybe convection? That changed some of our meal plans, but since we hadn't shopped before arriving it wasn't a big deal. There was some sort of issue going on with the pipes in an adjacent building, the noise of that was bothersome (but NOT the host's fault; we reported it to her when we were leaving, and she was going to see what if anything could be done).

The host of this property was great, she's very easy to communicate with. The location of this property is lovely, with a fantastic view of the Palais des Papes the moment you step out the door. There are many windows letting in lots of light, and the whole apartment was clean and comfortable.

The location was amazing. I attended a university term in the city years ago and it was lovely to be back right across from the Palais. This is a spacious facility with everything we needed. It was nice to have two toilets as we shared the place with another couple. We were on the later side of the hour we said we would arrive and our host was gracious.

If I had to say something the towels weren’t the best and there weren’t enough. But when we asked for more the host brought them.

Probably one of the best apartments I’ve ever stayed in. Large, spotless, spacious apt perfectly located. The common area was large with plenty of furniture. The bedrooms were large with plenty of storage. There were 2 full bathrooms and washer/dryer. A/C was loud but worked fine. Everything was well stocked if you would want to cook (we didn’t). Even the crazy parking garage complete with classical music was great b/c our spot was located few steps from the front door with no stairs. Great place to eat breakfast a few steps away. The host was also friendly and responsive and made it easy to find.

Our host was fantastic, very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities. Apartment is huge, great for a family of 4. Washing machine, dryer, two bathrooms and good kitchen. Excellent value for money. Position was unbeatable- right across the Palais des papes. Free parking a bonus too.

The location was perfect. I traveled with friends so the ample bathroom choices were very convenient. As was the washer AND dryer! The apartment is quite lovely and we enjoyed stopping in to eat and relaxing in the evening. The best part was our host, Myriam! She went above and beyond for us and we will always remember her kindness!

No central AC, but the room units really kept the bedrooms cool to sleep comfortably. The beds were just ok. Linens might be upgraded as they were a bit coarse.

Host met us at the parking garage entrance and gave an access key that allowed entry and at no charge for us to park. The stroll to the room from the garage is only 1 minute and on level ground. The apartment is a little dated, but overall quite spacious and fully appointed. Given the price, outstanding location, gracious host, and the fine accommodations, I highly recommend.

Myriam, our host, was outstanding. She was lovely, pleasant and helpful. She humored me by letting me speak to her in French (not my first language). Myriam even gave me a ride to pick up my rental car and assisted me with the process by leading me back to the apartment once I picked up the car. So helpful!! The apartment was in a wonderful location, right next to the Pope's Palace and a bevy of restaurants. The apartment was spacious, spotless and well equipped with coffee, and other necessary items (sugar, spices).

There was nothing that we didn't like.

This is a beautiful and spacious apartment apartment located directly opposite the Cathedral so you could not be in a better location to explore the old city of Avignon. The kitchen and bathrooms are all excellent and the furnishings are very nice too and everything was beautifully clean. There is cable TV and air conditioning which we found essential as the temperature outside was 32 degs C! Thank you Myriam for making our stay so enjoyable.

The location was absolutely prime. Nicely located in the old city on the plaza in front of the pope’s palace. The parking worked out very well, especially given that the property is located in the old city. We would be very happy to stay here again.

There's absolutely nothing not to like, except for the fact that eventually you have to leave.

Where to start? The location, as it says in the name, is exactly opposite of the Popes' Palace. You step out of your door, and you're standing right at the foot of the breathtaking UNESCO world heritige, that is the 14th century palace of popes of Avignon. Want to visit the world famous brigde? You're just a flight of steps away. If you're worried that a place this central must be noisy, don't be! We were staying there during the famous Festival d'Avignon, and we slept like babies. The bedrooms are located in the back of the apartment, with windows to an inner garden and the stairs, so they're further away from the square, and they're separated by two doors from the living room, and the livingroom windows keep the voices out quite well anyways. So you can get a good night's sleep, but when you're in the living room, you can open the door, sit on the sofa and feel like you're on the VIP section of the square. Our hostess was very flexible. We both arrived and left early, but she managed. She even woke up early to wish us good bye. The house had everything you need. The washing machine and the dryer made it easy for us, to pack lightly for our 11 day trip in south France. The kitchen had all the things you could dream of, and more. The house is modern, it even has USB plugs to charge your phones. And motion activated night lights, so you don't trip on your way to the bathroom at night. I almost forgot to mention, that there are two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and one with a shower, and two toilets, one separate, and one in one of the bathrooms. Every room is beautifully and tastefully decorated, clean and spacious. Wondering about the heat in south France? Sometimes it's really hot, but not here! They even have air conditioning, which we didn't even need, because the house was calm all day.
