Hotel’s wifi connection could be weak and not work at times

Fantastic location, within walking distance to sites like the Louvre, Centre Pompidou, Pantheon and Notre Dame. Also near lots of bars and restaurants. Metro entrance right in front of the hotel and handy grocery shop next door. Room was basic but clean

There are some people who hang around outside the hotel all night and they could be a bit noisy at times. We came in July and it was quite hot so we chose to leave the windows open at night however a fan was generously provided by the hotel so if it got too noisy we always had the option to close the windows.

The property is very well situated with access to a large metro steps away from the hotel lobby. The property is older and the rooms are Paris small but it is clean, well maintained and there is everything that you need. The elevator is small but there is one which is fabulous. The reception staff are very friendly, pleasant and helpful. I practiced my Grade School French with them (which was a very very long time ago) and they were very gracious. There is a small grocery store immediately beside the hotel which was very convenient.

Really exciting riots on main street( not hotels fault, Paris shooting aftermath). No real issues.

Right above an entrance to chatelet, superb location. The reception is an elder gentle man in the morning and a younger one afternoon. Both very helpful and kind.

The en suite bathroom was even smaller that the room, relatively speaking, but everything worked and we managed just fine!

The Hotel is in a fine location in a quiet side street. There are numerous bars and eating places close to hand. The room was clean and adequate although small and with very comfortable beds. The room was given some character by the large timber beams too. Would consider another visit. Oh, the banks of the Seine 200yards away!!

An old building with cracks on the walls and lots of mold in the shower, it doesn't take much to clean this mold, why not doing that? It's quite disgusting... Not enough toilet paper, I got a used one... I had to bring my own eventually... Shower curtain was dirty with orange stains and didn't cover the shower properly, it was semi flooded while I took a shower.. The elevator is ridiculously small, if you have big bags they have to be sent separately, luckly the staff is nice and ready to help.

Room size was quite ok for a single room. Fan in the room. Elevator. Great location, close to everything in central Paris. Right next to a nice coffee place and a metro station. Great staff - I couldn't find a cab for a long time and one of the employees went to the street and got one for me, many thanks!

Small bathroom. Elevator is quite small and fitting in there by myself with luggage was a tight squeeze.

There was a table in the room so you could work on a laptop. Big bed was nice. Lamps next to bed could be adjusted up or down depending on where you wanted to direct the light. (This was good for reading a book at night)

The carpet is dusty and there's some weird smell in the room. Inside cabinet there's extra blanket but its on the cabinet floor You have to leave your room key with the receptionist if you're going for a stroll The elevator fits one person, the stairs is narrow

Its near metro and bus stops. If you're fond of walking . You can walk up to the louvre. There's a grocery beside it, so you can have breakfast from there. Bathroom is clean

The outside street was dirty and noisy well into the am. Usually several homeless and beggers. But, that's not the hotel's fault.

Located close to many sites of interest and restaurants and shopping. Right by Chatelet metro,so can catch RER trains easy. Staff very helpful. One young man left the hotel and quickly pointed to a great bakery down the next street.

These are minor things, but would improve the stay. Shower leaked and so made the bathroom quite wet. The room could have done with a small bar fridge and kettle. I think these are essential items when travelling and staying in a room for more than 1 night.

Fantastic location. You could not ask to be in a better position from which to view and explore Paris. Hotel is located right near the metro entrance too. Everything is in walking distance. Fantastic pastry shop just around the corner.
