How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We cannot think of anything.
The location is very good -- within walking distance of the Arch, the Trocadero, the Eiffel Tower, and the Champs d' Elysee. Lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. A small grocery a few buildings down the street. The room was very nice -- we did have a jr suite. The staff were all very helpful.

I was upgraded to a junior suite, which was spacious and comfortable. Property is in a cul-de-sac meaning there was no traffic noise. Excellent location close to the tube and restaurants.

The shower and the absence of small hand towels made it difficult to properly shower. No restaurant on site
The location was perfect. The room was clean; bed was very comfortable. The shower did not work properly because of a broken nob; there were no small hand towels which made bathing difficult.

The hallway is a bit smelly.
The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is modern clean with all the amenities needed. The hotel has an excellent location, 4min on foot to Boissiere Metro, 10min to Victor Hugo Metro and few minutes walk to the Famous Place Trocadero and its famous cafes and restaurants. Friendly staff. Very highly recommended.

There is a small bar and dining area for breakfast. We had included breakfast but it was very limited. We discovered on second day that there were many small cafes and restaurants nearby so it was better to use those rather than the hotel breakfast.
perfect location, tucked away in a queit spot within easy walking distance to Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysee. The rooms were just right, clean and cosy. The staff were great, very helpful and they allowed us to check in early and leave late, always served with a smile.

We would have enjoyed an expresso machine in the room!

Convenient location for the Eiffel Tower. There are very few parking spaces so we were directed to a multi storey car park. This is under ground and the entrance is tight but it is close by and secure. Staff were friendly and the bar man on in the evening was great helping us with restaurant suggestions. There are loads close by. There is even a small shop on the street for any drinks etc you might need

There were three areas I felt could be improved: 1. The bathroom shower blind is too short. So when you shower, water gets all over the place. Luckily, you have loads of towels to help clean up. 2. There are no English channels. So it was difficult to watch the TV. I believe they can have subtitles or a few English channels. 3. Lastly, the WI-FI wasn't that convenient. Bumps you out every 20-30mins and no auto-reconnect.
This boutique hotel is very close to most of the tourists locations. 15mins. It's also very close to the metro and taxi stand. It's next door to a supermarket for extra supplies when needed. Came in handy. The Staff all wore a smile and were always willing to assist. The serenity of the hotel helped to calm my nerves after getting back from the city tour each day. It's not crowded. Its clean and has a garden rest area behind. It was just perfect for my purpose.

If you are driving it only has a few spaces so book in advance.
The Garden Elysee is surrounded by greenery, as shown in the photos, and is hidden from the road so is nice and quiet. The location is just a nice walk to many of the main sites and local restaurants and bars. Rooms are a good size for Paris.

This was our second time staying here. It has a great location for getting around Paris. There is a metro location 3 blocks away. It is an oasis tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is an easy walk to the view of the Eiffel Tower from the trocerdaro. Good breakfast.

The breakfast! For such a steep price of the rooms, the breakfast choices could have been wider! Pancakes were cold; boiled eggs cold; no water; etc...
