If you would like a cheerful, social atmosphere of an evening then it is best to go out as we did though this night may not have been representative. Not far to go to restaurants and bars elsewhere (there was no hint of the hotel's own bar and restaurant being open that evening).

The room was perfectly adequate if a little dated in its decor. The bed was a small double, which if you're not used to feels a bit small, but it had a very comfortable mattress. Though the hotel is situated on a busy main road the traffic calmed down in the evening. We were in a room at a back and it was very quiet overnight. The breakfast was simple, baguette, croissant, homemade jam, a little piece of excellent local cheese, good coffee. Monsieur served us throughout our stay with friendly charm. You can easily walk up from the hotel into the pretty old town above and explore the little streets and old ramparts.

The hotel is such a welcome surprise. Lovely and clean and a really welcoming gentleman checked us in. Very convenient distance from the autoroute for an overnight stay. Would definitely stay again!

A small fridge could be present.

A very interesting hotel with its own vibes. When I saw photos I thought it would be not the best place to stay. But I was wrong: I liked it. Yes, the furniture is old-fashioned. But it's quite comfortable, and the town is true magic. Air conditioner and car parking are present as described.

Check in time from 16.30 could be restrictive for some but worked fine for us.

Breakfast lovely, location right by the road but very quiet with the beautiful old town directly behind. River across the road which was ideal for our dog as it felt like the countryside in the town.

At first glance it may seem that the hotel is very simple. But it is quite enough to rest during the journey. This is such an authentic hotel in the countryside as in the old days. The place is comfortable, the beds are good. There were reviews that someone was disturbed by the noise from the street - our windows overlooked the courtyard, it was completely quiet. The breakfast was very good. Unfortunately we arrived late and couldn't appreciate the dinner. By the way, the town is very cute, we walked around it before leaving.

The hotel's proximity to a busy main road presented a challenging conflict between insulating against traffic noise and aeration on a hot night. Some form of air conditioning ? Lighting on the stairwell could be improved. The building denies the installation of a lift.

This a comfortable hotel which provide us with good accomodation with challenging access for any with mobility issues. Our hosts were very accomodating borne of many years exeriience; Very large room with ample en_suite recently renovated. Our breakfast included abundance of fresh bread and conserves with a very good croissant. Our dinner was enjoyed by us all.

Had the breakfast which was an additional cost but which was good value. This was an overnight stop on the way from Calais to the Alps and met our needs perfectly; just off of the motorway, free parking but quiet and close to places for a quick evening meal.

Hotel is situated on a very busy provincial road and since the rooms have no airco you have to leave the window open for some fresh air which makes sleeping a challenge with the noise from all the traffic.

It’s a simple but nice hotel near Chambery which we used for an overnight stay on our way to Italy. Rooms are plain and simple but good. Breakfast was very nice.

Very clean & welcoming host. Free parking at the side and a short walk to the centre of the small village behind the hotel with bars and restaurants . Excellent breakfast with lovely coffee and homemade jam.

The beds are really hard, after a day of driving, we were hoping for some more comfort.
