Coffee machine was down leaving 50 people to get coffee from the one working machine. 15 minute wait for coffee or a refill. Need to refill the in-room tea and coffee packets. Maids are only allowed to give packets at check-in. They cannot restock the packets. Change hotel policy. The bags are cheap and a good service with positive feedback if readily avaliable.

some of the room bath tub a bit slippery and difficult to get into.

Location is very near to sanctuary. Only 5 minute slow walk to reach sanctuary. Room was very clean. towel was provided for each guest and changed daily if requested. bathroom has a hot shower. Breakfast has many option including bread, sausage, bacon, yogurt, various hot prepared eggs. Staff was courteous, helpful and very speedy in check in and check out process.

Getting to the property was a nightmare. Nothing to do with accommodations, though.

Steps away from the basilica and grotto. Historic beautiful building. We were upgraded to a suite. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic helpful desk staff. Extremely close to Lourdes Cathedral and attractions, easily walkable. Lots close by cafés and tourist shops. Restaurant at the hotel has lovely food.

Beautiful, historic hotel conveniently located literally across the street from the entrance to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Parking is confusing but understand that there are limits based on the location of the hotel.

The location of the hotel is suprerb. The decor and cleanliness were excellent. The staff was friendy and attentive.

upon check out we were charged for the breakfast in the hotel, but we had already paid for the breakfast and not charged to the room. so i suggest thoroughly checking your bill upon check out.

Hotel Moderne was so conveniently located outside the Lourdes Sanctuary. The room was comfortable and well lighted with nice big windows. The staff in the front desk were pleasant and very accommodating. The restaurant had very good food. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around it.

Staff’s helpfulness and kindness was the best I’ve seen in Europe. The property is impeccable and the details in the woodwork, intricate architecture, lush furnishings, etc, make you feel like you’re in another time. Breakfast was delicious. Can’t beat the location.

We didn’t try breakfast this year as it was so poor last year but to be honest I did not even look at the breakfast bar but it was very busy & full of people as I left at 7.15 to attend early Mass

Huge bathroom with wet room style shower normally allocated to less able bodied persons but it was a joy to use & it had a large double door which opened out to our large balcony & connected with the bedroom balcony & door also.

The €20 breakfast is not worth the price and should be avoided. There are better options in the immediate vicinity for half the price.
