Pedestrian entrance to garage was a bit tricky

The old style mattress was very uncomfortable - a topper is essential! Couldn't close the bedroom door to the little hallway as it was too tight over the carpet, only one hook for hand towels in the bathroom - had to hang 2nd towel on door handle, the shower door clashed with the bathroom door, and the trendy design plug in the washbasin is the sort that doesn't shut completely, very modern style but it must waste lots of water! It's a shame as the hotel was very nice but these little niggles spoil the overall effect.

The staff were friendly, the location was good (although the small one way streets to it were a bit tricky), safe parking, good breakfast, very clean and quiet at night. Lots of restaurants nearby.

It was nice and if I had a few quid and make a serious offer.

We liked the front and the sides and also the view from the back up high but we couldn’t see the back unless you lean out of the window. Note. Never attempt leaning out. It’s dangerous and you could be killed or seriously injured. If you go to the square you could probably see the roof but we forgot when we were there but as a guess I would say it’s in good condition. Inside was quite nice as well so all in all we really liked the property, style and condition all good. There are really huge white vases in the window but the aren’t for sale.

The key system was old fashioned and out dated. There was a port in the doorway to the old town closing et 20:00h. Needed a code we did not understand we had gotten when checking in. Felt the hotel with a little run down rooms needed some upgrading.

Close to old town. Short way to most interesting places. Friendly people around. Many nice coffee spots with seeting outside for goodfeeling "people spotting" and lingering on how nice town Poitier is. Bathrom with shover facilities was excellent a sixer.

The separate toilet was extremely small, almost impossible to sit or stand comfortably without hitting your head on the very near facing wall. A taller or 'wider' person would find it impossible to sit down.

Good room and excellent private parking. Perfect situation in City center, a short walk to everything.

The only very slight thing is that the hotel closes the main door after 8 and so you need to access via a code, this was easy as it happens. apart from this I can't think of any negatives to put forward as a Best western hotel it was very well presented and maintained as I have come to expect from all their hotels.

Very nice hotel right in the middle of Poitiers, the room was very clean and the staff very helpful, we made use of the overnight parking which was very useful and easy to locate. breakfast was nice and the staff very helpful again.

The room was small for 2&dog. Bizarrely, the coffee cups available at breakfast time had to be used with the right hand only because of the design which had an asymmetric raised lip. Irritating for a left-handed person like myself but impossible for anyone with a disability affecting their right hand.

The blonde middlea aged women at the reception was very rude. She didnt believe me, that I was staying at the hotel and treated me like i was not good enough to stay in the hotel. very rude woman, someone like her has no business working in hospitality

Nothing I didn't like , I would of liked a bar on site, reception sells drinks and you can sit in the reception area but not the same as relaxing in a bar, certainly no reason not to stay just personal preference.

Great staff very helpful, fantastic location, good car park underground at the hotel, needs to be pre booked. Shower cubicle small certainly no romantic shower for 2 but fit for purpose, room size otherwise really good no complaints would stay again without hesitation when in the area
