Location of this hotel is superb, very closed to the Basilica. Although the hotel building is pretty old, it has an interesting local charm and identity. The room size was good and it has a small balony. Breakfast was good. Most impressive of this hotel is staff. During my stay, I encountered five different people at front desk, maintenance and dinning room. All of them were very attentive and responsive to my requests.

It is very close to the grotto. It is a nice hotel. I very much liked my room and the hotel. The bathroom was truly spacious. The front desk is very accommodating and very helpful. Here is some important information about the rooms. This hotel offers superior and deluxe rooms. The superior rooms are cheaper and seem newer and bigger, have larger restrooms and comfortable furniture. The deluxe rooms seem smaller and have less comfortable furniture, though they have a view and a larger tv. I think the superior rooms are all in another building, which in my opinion seems newer and fresher. I definitely recommend the superior to the deluxe rooms. I was originally placed in a deluxe room and upon seeing it asked the front desk if I could see a superior room and they were able to give me a superior room, which I thought was much better. Though I think this hotel only uses the words superior and deluxe to describe rooms on booking, as at the front desk these rooms were referred to as rooms with and without views. I was given a superior twin room, which was very large and came with a super comfy and large foam chair, and a nice desk with another comfortable chair. My dad was given a superior double room, which though not nearly large as my specific twin room, was comfortable and came with a balcony, though his room only came with a chair for his desk, and in the booking pictures, the superior room come with a foam chair.

before arriving we were asked through emails if we would like to have room facing the garden, having early check in etc, it turned out we have to pay for every extra item we said yes to. So we ended paying certain extras which we would not have chosen had we known about extra payment. The room was also very small.

Location was the best! 5-minute walk to the grotto. A car is not needed however they do have parking behind the hotel, very safe area. Check in and out was very easy and very friendly staff. Great shower, comfortable beds, coffee and tea provided in room

The pillows were way too soft. But that is really the only negative about the room. Also, it would be nice to have maybe one English speaking TV channel for news.

- The internet is weak and the internal way-finding with many lifts locations is a bit cumbersome. - The restaurant opens a bit late for dining, at 19:00hrs.

- As a pilgrim to Lourdes, the property is well located. - It is clean and well kept. - The personnel is welcoming and attentive.

I didn’t like the set up of toilet room without a basin. After using the toilet you have to go to the bath room to wash your hands.

The breakfast was good enough with variety of food. The location is perfect, very close to the sanctuary, the souvenir shops, the restaurants and coffee shops.

Wifi was very patchy in our room.

The location is excellent - easy walking to the Lourdes Sanctuary. A hotel with Olde Worlde charm. The staff were excellent - Christophe checked us in at 2am after travel disruption delayed our arrival. Then Monste, at reception, went above and beyond the call to help us sort a flat car battery on departure. We were so grateful for her assistance.

No bathrobes and slippers. No sence of coziness. Parking is not free for the guests. One person of our group had a birthday and there was not even a slightest gesture which is strange for the 4 star hotel.

Would visit again but on a room only basis, breakfast was not adequate for price, “faulty towers” is how we described it, staff so unorganised, not pleasant, no eye contact. No one clearing tables, residents spread between 3 different areas. Asked for omelette was told had no eggs, asked what alternative hot food was available told scrambled eggs!! But yet they had no eggs?? Total chaos, not a relaxed experience. Did not have dinner in hotel due to this.

Location fantastic short walk to sanctuary, shops, cafes, restaurants on your door step. Superior double room with balcony overlooking the sanctuary park, beautiful view of candle light procession at night. Room adequate size for 2 people but storage space minimal. Excellent shower facilities. Ladies at reception very pleasant and extremely helpful.

Magnetic room card (key) did not work well and I had to go down several times to have it reinstalled.

Excellent location. My request for a quiet room on a higher floor far from the elevator was granted. I was able to watch and listen to the night procession from my room balcony. Patricia at the Reception was particularly helpful. Personnel at the restaurant were accommodating, pleasant and efficient while serving dinner without long waiting time. Bravo to the chef - the meals were delicious!

Great location right off the main strip and very close to the entrance of the sanctuary. The rooms were perfectly clean and beautifully updated but still in keeping with the historic vibe. We also had a great balcony overlooking the strip.

Only thing that could be improved was our drinking water wasn’t replenished in our room after the first night and the pillows weren’t very comfortable.

Staff were all very welcoming and friendly with a ‘nothing too much trouble’ attitude. Our breakfast ‘welcome lady’ was standout along with our reception on arrival. We were made to feel special.
