We had a really nice time here! The apartment had all the facilities we needed and was very comfortable. The view from the windows is beautiful and the location is right in the city center very close to restaurants, cafes and shops. Laurence was very helpful, kind and welcoming. The best host I interacted with!

Only thing to mention was the floors were very noisy. Not a problem for us, but I felt bad and hope we didn’t annoy anyone below us.

This is the perfect location. I mean PERFECT. We were in the middle of everything for the markets, but it was so quiet. When it rained, we just snuck back to take a nap and went back out when it stopped. Most people had to stay out in the bad weather.

Floorboards are creaky but you probably should expect things like that in houses in Colmar - every building is literally hundreds of years old

This was such a generously sized apartment and perfect for our 3 night stay just after Xmas in Colmar. We worked remotely during the day and Wi-Fi was great and it was super easy to duck out and get food or have a little wander around and then at night it was literally bang in the middle of the town with all the Xmas markets surrounding us. The town itself is also beautiful. But what really sets this place apart is the hosts. We have done quite a bit of travelling and Lawrence and Jean-Luc are probably the nicest hosts we’ve ever had. We are English speaking and they are native French but do very well with their English and tried very hard to make sure we had a great stay. We very much appreciated their hospitality and hope to visit Colmar again one day (and we’d stay at this place again for sure).

The apartment is on the 3rd floor in a building without an elevator. But I doubt that small historic houses in the city center can even have an elevator.

The apartment made our trip to Colmar! It is located in the center and we could enjoy the view to the Christmas markets. Restaurants, an indoor market and a couple of supermarkets are very close. The apartment itself is organized with care for the guests. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a bedroom with a comfortable bed, a small dining room and a room with sofa and a large TV. The apartment is clean, newly renovated with high quality appliances. The hostess herself is very friendly and ready to help with any question.

I wish that I could have stayed longer.

I LOVED everything about our stay at this beautiful apartment. Laurence was excellent with communication prior to and during our stay. Once we had booked our train tickets and let her know, she let us check earlier than we were meant to which was much appreciated. Everything about Colmar is magical, however, experiencing Colmar by staying in this apartment just took it to another level. Laurence and her husband Jean-Luc met us at the apartment to handover the keys, helped with our luggage and did a little walk around tour. The left us a bottle of champagne and a bag of pretzels as a little welcome gift - which was such a lovely touch. The pictures on bookings.com did not do justice to the beauty of this apartment. The views from every window is breath-taking, the finishes in the apartment are so modern, classy and comfortable, there is so much of light in the apartment as well. It is also so centrally located, in the historical district - which is where you want to be staying if in Colmar. There is a wine tasting shop literally across the road. Petite Venice and the covered food market is about a 2min walk away. When we got to the apartment I fell in love with the Alsatian wine glasses and messaged Laurence to ask her where I could get them from. She was so amazingly quick and detailed with the different options she gave me. We stayed at 4 different places while in France, this apartment and the experience of it was the loveliest of them all.

Great location - nicely decorated rooms with good range of kitchen stuff, washing machine etc to make your stay comfortable. Friendly and helpful host. Would recommend to friends and come again.

Do add aircon unit during summer...the fans are not enuf😅. Luckily there ample windows in the apartment👌

There was nothing to dislike . took us a day or so to get used to the squeaks from the floorboards . Any old building has stairs and this perfect place was no exemption ..

Well I don’t know where to start . Firstly Laurent was a fabulous , kind,generous welcoming host . She made our Birthday ,anniversary trip very special and went above and beyond for us . Every room except the toilet has views over old town .The whole area is very spacious .Tastefully and well decorated in a modern way , obviously a lot of attention to detail Well equiped kitchen loads of plates etc and an oven . The fridge is full size .

Although our stay was perfect, it would have been nice to have more towels. We found that the shower left water on the floor, so we had to use an extra towel to wipe it up. It wasn’t a problem, per se, it was just something that required an extra towel, and we didn’t have extra. We also like to have fresh towels every day, so having a few more available would have been nice. Because the home is historic, the floors are very creaky. This is part of the charm of the home, yet we found it difficult to hear each other when someone was waking. These are small things and should be taken in the context that they did not in any way negatively impact our experience.

The apartment is charming and beautiful. Laurence (the owner) has exquisite taste and thinks of everything. She and her partner met us when we arrived around 9:30 PM. They carried our bags and gave us a personal orientation to the apartment, including how to use electronics and where to find things. We felt like royalty. ❤️ The apartment was pristine - everything was spotless. The location was excellent as it is right in the heart of the old town so it was easy to come and go as needed by foot. The apartment has lots of natural light because of the many windows, which makes it bright and easy to get fresh air and enjoy the sounds of the people and smell of different foods from the restaurants below.

It would be great to have some more dishes and kitchenware in the flat. And it would be honestly a great thing to have more than one dishwasher tab. It doesn’t cost much but it makes things much easier and convenient.

The 4th floor apartment would be more comfortable in the summer with more fans. Very noisy area at night when you need to leave windows open for air.
