During my recent trip to Portovecchio, I had the pleasure of staying at this Hotel for 7 nights and I must say, it was an absolute delight. The hotel's excellent location made exploring Corsica a breeze, and my triple room I stayed in was spacious, comfortable. Nice shower and balcony. The room was also well-equipped with modern amenities, including a TV, a mini-fridge, and a well-appointed bathroom. The hotel's staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries. From the moment we arrived, they provided a warm and personalized welcome, ensuring that we felt right at home. Their professionalism and dedication contributed to a pleasant and stress-free stay, making us feel truly valued as guests. I would like to take a moment to express my deep appreciation and commendation for the exceptional cleaning staff. Throughout my stay, I was consistently impressed by their dedication, attention to detail, and the immaculate cleanliness they maintained within the hotel.

FranceBecause we were hikers we were not allowed to take our rucksacks, boots and poles to our rooms to avoid transmission off bedbugs from refuges-though we had been in our tent and hadn’t stayed in refuges anyway. This seemed unreasonable since the bags were stored only metres away from all the hotel bedding. The storage area was left unlocked and the door was left open to the street on several occasions. I would have been happy to take extra precautions with potentially dirty or dangerous equipment but felt the measures adopted were unreasonable and unsecured. Some English speaking TV channels would be a good idea for guests who don’t speak French.
