You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Netherlands- The interior is a bit dated. - You need to ring a bell or call to have the parking opened (it was raining cats and dogs when we visited so not really fun to get out of the car) - Our toilet smelled - the breakfast is great if you like sweets. Less healthy options

GuernseyWe stayed on a Monday night so the hotel restaurant was closed. The hotel did recommend another restaurant and kindly made a resvervation for us.
What a lovely hotel, beautifully furnished. We only stayed one night but will definitely be back again. Perfect location in Val les Bains. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of free parking. We didn't use the pool but it looked lovely.

United KingdomNothing much to say here; perhaps it would be nice to be prompted to book the hotel's Michelin starred restaurant upon booking the room? That's our fault but a prompt on Booking.com might be helpful!
The hotel is well located in the centre of the lovely Vals-les-Bains town; it is possible to walk to some good restaurants (we didn't book the Michelin star restaurant in the hotel in advance so missed out on that!); the staff were very helpful and attentive; the rooms were clean and comfortable; the pool is small but fine for the kids when no one else was around!

AustriaThe staff were friendly but partially incompetent/insufficiently trained. The reception did not provide any information about the hotel services. The bar was hopeless, no service, no atmosphere, very limited choice. The breakfast was, like the rest of the hotel, simply not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. No comfortable outside sitting area, not even at the pool. The hotel is best described as shabby-genteel.
The "luxury" room was acceptable, but very overpriced. We did not try the restaurant.
