Room exceptionally small, awkward, cramped. Very difficult to move about with 2 people in the room. no place to open up luggage except on the bed. Parking in this area was terrible.

The room was not clean. There was dirt and dust on the green counter in our room. We also had dirty towels mixed with the clean ones.

The soundproofing. On booking.com we specifically booked a room that was advertised as soundproof. This is outright false, as I was woken up by the neighbour's packing! I could even hear when they zipped their bags! Similarly another guest even knocked on my door due to us being too noisy and not knowing the walls were so incredibly thin.

The staff were absolutely brilliant - it was obvious that they really care about their guests. It was lovely to be welcomed with the option to have a hot drink and some danishes or cakes when we arrived (the lady told us they were left overs from breakfast). We were there for two days but there were no left overs on the next day. But it was so nice on the first day. As our room was on the 2nd floor, the lady was willing to carry our bags up the stairs (but we managed perfectly fine - it was just very thoughtful of her). It wasn’t a problem carrying the bags up at all. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The hotel was clean and everything was in working order. Bed was comfortable and we had a very good night sleep on both nights. We chose to have the breakfast on both mornings - 13 euros each. The gentleman made coffee and hot chocolate for us - very good. He even went out of his way to find out more information about where to get the hot chocolate powder from - it was delicious. There was three types of cereals, prunes, nuts (think there were 4 varieties), cheese, hams, danishes and croissants, cakes, packets cakes, fruit ( a variety) yoghurts, bread, jams, nutella, yogurts, eggs, different juices, - I’m sure there were other things too. There was definitely enough to fill you up and everything was fresh and well presented. The chateau is around the corner - it is so close to walk there. We were going to stay in Paris but this is a far better option. You can really make the most of seeing Versailles and you really need the full day to see everything in the chateau and the garden. There is also a grocery store close by as well and the train station is walking distance (we arrived by train). Restaurants are down the street from the hotel. Even though everything is so close, the hotel is in a quiet area. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the hotel staff for being so friendly and helpful.

The small double room is probably much smaller than 13 sqm. You can barely walk around the bed. It had fungus in the bathroom. The bathroom had no door but only a curtain.

The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Near to train station and palace. The room had a big terrace.

I’m furious - that the hotel won’t give me my money back for paying twice. they say they were hacked and didn’t receive the first payment ( which was paid to booking dot com. on the app ) I paid again by another card at reception because they said they hadn’t receive payment !! and later when I check my bank accounts I’d paid TWICE.

the hotel is very run down , peeling wall paper , dated bathroom , the room was so tiny it didnt ressemble at all what we saw on the platform , the price that was charged for a room of that standard was shocking .. 164 euro .. i paid just above this for a 4 stars on the promenade des anglais with sea view recently . i wouldnt have minded , i was aware this was a 2 stars but i was expecting to be able to swing a cat in my room for that price , the bath to have plug and to be of a size where i can actually fit my legs and for it to be in a good state or repair .

We had a room for 3. It was a room for 1 with 3 beds. One bed could only be accessed from the foot of the bed. No space to keep luggage. No space to move comfortably in the room. Bathroom very small, you sit on the toilet side ways with the toilet paper roll holder and a vent in one ear and the wash basin counter in the other ear. Shower in the very narrow tub, shower curtain too short, water drips out. By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. No fit for one person leave alone 3.

Location is the only thing going for this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. They offered us free breakfast because of my complaint below.

The hotel was very close to the Château and train station. The room was compact and the bed was very comfy.

The room was not clean. The room didn’t have a toilet door, just one curtain to separate the bedroom and the bathroom. The rug was filthy, dusty, and old. You could smell the mold from the entrance. We were with our toddler, and we needed to keep the windows open all night. We know the hotels in France are overpriced, but you should respect some minimum conditions.

The location is close to the Versailles chateau.

there are no pictures of all the rooms specially the one we got was very tiny and with only one window on the roof the ambiance was totally different in comparison with the picture displayed from the hotel (where the room has a lot of light and two large windows) the tiny window on the roof made the space feel claustrophobic, in general it’s a room that should be displayed in the pictures because the expectations before arrival are totally different then when checking in and seeing the rooms… the hair dryer doesn’t work in the room and overall it’s ok for one night stay but I wouldn’t stay for a longer time than that. overall the room felt very dark and claustrophobic

We really liked the service they were very nice and welcoming also the terrace downstairs by the breakfast area and the location was the best.
