The hotel was great. It's a small establishment but offers everything needed for a weekend break where accommodation was important but not the main focus of our trip. Extremely clean and well run, great location - we walked from the Gare de Nord - and there are many lovely independent restaurants for the evening as well as some breakfast cafes. Fantastic staff and a very friendly and helpful reception team.

The street can be quite busy at night. One of the nights a group of people was right below our window talking and laughing out loud. It’s not the hotel’s fault, but it impacted on our experience, for sure.

Nice localization, we could do visit everything by walking. Charming hotel with a cute a coffee shop: could it get more Paris than this? Nice room and nice bathroom, staff were always very nice and polite. Real comfy bed and good amenities.

This hotel's ground floor and public areas were recently renovated and it's sparkling and modern and friendly. Upstairs there are a few signs of age, but in a good way. It's a nice place to stay in a very interesting area of Paris - like Shoreditch in London - and the area is full of good restaurants. Our room at the back of the hotel was very quiet and surprisingly spacious with a great bathroom. The staff area super friendly and welcoming whether in French or English.

The staffs are amazing. We arrived at 7am and the staff was very welcoming. He served us coffee as we were waiting for shops to open, which was unexpected. Very happy with our stay, will definitely stay here again if we visit Paris.

We were given a room on the 6th floor, this meant going up and down in the tiny 2 person elevator each day. The elevator is very claustrophobic and can barely fit 2 people, this becomes an issue when you have a baby and need to compete with housekeeping for lift use. I would suggest requesting a room on floors 3 or 4. Upon arriving on the sixth floor the ceiling height became drastically reduced (compared to lower floors) and the corridor flooring was heavily sloping to one side. Very Strange. What was also strange was that our bedroom flooring was also sloping but to a different angle, this was uncomfortable when lying down as the bed sloped upward meaning our feet were higher than our heads. The housekeeping staff also randomly removed the bath plug from our room without explanation. I am yet to stay in a fault-less hotel in Paris.

The hotel had free snacks in the lobby and offered sparkling water and coffee free of charge. The we arrived early and left our bags with the hotel before going our exploring, when we had returned the hotel had kindly already taken our bags to the room. The bathroom was nice and the room was a decent size although an awkward shape.

Room design (comfort double room) meant there was too little useable space or storage space (even for a city centre hotel), poorly positioned lighting. OK for a couple of days, but not for a longer stay. A shame; otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Good location; fairly busy area but soundproofing kept out any street noise. Comfy bed. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Many pleasant designer touches.

The room was quite cold when we arrived and the elevator was out of service for a day (which was a good cardio training being on the 7th floor)

The TV proved a bit challenging to work - not that I had any interest in watching it, but the kids did.

Staff are excellent at this hotel, and create a nice atmosphere. If your room is on the 6th floor, it is a bit of a climb unless you want to get into a classic Paris lift. I also liked that there are loads of restaurants of bars within 2/3 minute walk, plus there are two nighttime bars right beside the hotel. We stayed in the junior suite room as we had our two boys with us -ages 11 and 9, there was plenty of room.

Breakfast very good. Great location. Lots of cafes and restaurants close by. All the staff were terrific. They were friendly and welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient and responsive to requests. They really went out of their way to ensure my stay was pleasant. I really enjoyed my stay st Hotel Paradis (11 days) and I would stay there again.

I was on the top floor and it smelled a bit damp after the first day. there was also a small carpeted ledge on the floor that was hard to see and I kept stubbing my toe

absolutely loved this place and the surrounding neighborhood. I was upgraded to the room with a view of sacré cœur which made it even more special! it was also the first hotel I’ve had in Paris where the street noise did not bother me and I couldn’t hear any other guests around. the room was beautiful and the bed was exactly how I like it. the whole place was super clean. will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Paris.

Nothing springs to mind. Short overnight stay so was a great, affordable but charming hotel to stay in.

Really nice little hotel in a lovely neighbourhood. Close to different metro stations and local eateries and bars, along with shops, pharmacy etc. Room was nice, with a clean bathroom. Hotel exterior was being renovated when we were there, but were compensated without asking and staff very friendly and informative.

only two lights above the bed - so very bright if you’re in bed but dark everywhere else. construction during my trip, while they mentioned there would be scaffolding which would affect the light in the room (and therefore give a discounted rate) they failed to mentioned that there would be loud banging from 8/8:30am for about an hour each morning in the week

Not sure if our room size is comparable to other Paris hotel but we usually have hotel bigger rooms for similar prices. We are comfortable & happy on the whole.

Location is great. Close to eateries & metro stations & Gate du Nord, coming into Paris from London on Eurostar.
