How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety, as I was travelling with my Mom and 9 year old - something to suit everyone. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and the location was fantastic!

Nothing was offered extra apart from the night stay. Breakfast coffee and everything else you needed to pay out of pocket. We were on ground floor so there was no real view.
The hotel was clean, nice and the staff was very welcoming. The location was just five minutes walk from Arc de Triumph , in a very well connected location. We greatly recommend this hotel.

That i had to give 100 euro as a deposit of the snack bar in the room. i think its quite a lot of money as a deposit

My son and I ran the Paris Marathon and this hotel was perfect for location for the marathon, it was located near the arc de triomphe and other major attractions. Plenty of restaurants and shops near by to entertain yourself. It was a lovely spot and the staff were very helpful. I would stay again and highly recommend

Location was very good, close to the center, The staff is very helpful and friendly. View from the balcony to the Arc de Triomphe, very beautiful. The hotel is very close to the metro.

Excellent location right beside Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees and Charles de Gaulle Etoile. 20 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. Shops, restaurants and bars all around. Room was clean and comfy and staff were pleasant. Would stay again as excellent location for shopping, sights and travel to DisneyLand.

Triple room was very small, very little floor space with the 3 beds in the room.
Excellent location, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, and very close to the bus stop for transfers to Beauvais Airport.

Toilet and bathroom are dated, study chair was broken. Neither a significant issue considering the location and suitability for family.
Nice hotel with a family room and a view up the street to the Arc de Triumph. The tube stops are at each end of the street and so it was easy to transit around. A super bakery just around the corner and lots of restaurants. The supermarket is a 5 min walk. Staff were very helpful.

The airconditioning was very loud if it was turned on. The room got very warm if it was off, even though we were staying in march. Bring your own hairdryer if you want to use one, the one in the room was very bad. We asked for a new one and the staff said they would check if they had a new one.. never heard from them.
Very good location and good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Poor breakfast. 2 hours after check-in, cleaning lady knocked and our sleep was ruined. This, after 9 hours flight. AC not working properly, an additional electric radiator is there, but has to be removed from socket when you leave the room.
Location was good, central. We could leave our luggage before check-in. We received our room 1 h earlier.

I asked months in advance for a triple room with 3 beds and explained it was a special trip. Request was ignored and a double bed was given. Triple room only had 2 glasses and 2 cups. When we asked for more on our way in on the first evening, was told restaurant was closed so we couldn't have any. Little things like this does let the experience down
Location is great, comfortable room at a reasonable price considering where we were. Hotel had a parisian charm and overall was nice to stay at.
