How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had a lot of luggage but there was no trolley so had to carry everything from the car - no big deal really.
Property was nice and clean. Beds were comfy. Just a short walk away were several bars and restaurants so great location.

Car park a bit narrow to get in and out.
Great sized room and big bathroom. Good location for visiting Clermont Ferrand. Quiet and good selection for breakfast. Underground carpark.

we think there was a foam ontop of the mattress, as we felt a bit hot during sleeping

There was only one coffee machine at breakfast which led to big queues. The actual breakfast area could have been bigger. It didn't flow.
Location was ideal. 5 minutes walk to the centre. Good parking. Breakfast was quite substantial with a good choice. The receptionist who we saw was lovely. He gave us a map and suggested places to eat and drink. Room was comfy.

Needs better AC. We had a bad night until it started to cool down, so that we could open the windows.
Hotel was in a good location, had good space and was very clean. We were in our way to Bordeaux so we stayed here just as a place to rest for the long journey from the Alps.

Reception told us the EV chargers were not available. Once we told them we would be checking whether to change to another hotel or not, they came to us telling they were both free. Within a few minutes and only one car left the parking lot. That was a bit strange. We really needed the EV charger since we were low on charge and could better use our time in the morning since we travel with a baby. Good to know: the bathroom in the room was split in two. One with shower and sink, the other with the toilet (but no sink). Therefore to wash hands you need to go around to the other bathroom. The part with the toilet smelled weird (maybe someone smoked in there in the past). The room was pretty cold despite turning off the cooling which was set to very low when we arrived.
The location is very good. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice.

The building is not attractive or charming at all, nor is the view from the bedrooms. The location is average: just south of the city center and main squares but far from the rain station (which is pretty distant from the city center in any case) Check-in was slow due to a long queue and just one employee. The lobby is small, especially around the reception counter so there is no privacy at all during check-in, which can be quite annoying
Breakfast was excellent for the category of the hotel with fresh regional products and warm food prepared at the moment. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were also varied and generous, a really pleasant surprise. The bed was comfortable and cleanliness was excellent everywhere.

Really friendly staff, room was very comfortable and quiet - perfect for a good nights sleep! Excellent breakfast and we managed to get a secure parking spot in the hotel car park overnight.

Please check the hair dryer for safety.
The hotel is in a good location, central, for visiting the city. The bed was comfortable and a good size, the pillows are great! Breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
