the room we had been allocated, was not in the hotel itself, but across the yard. in a building which had a lot of stairs to climb. but no elevator, completely impossible for me( I am handicapped). in a hotel of that category I would not have expected that. also we had some problem with the payment and the billing. booking had already charged me, but the hotel was not aware of that!. eventually this problem was also resorted. finally, I think the quality of the breakfast did not live up to the charge 22€

after the problem- see below- we have been quickly upgraded to resolve the situation

We were hoping for a lovely, uninterrupted view of the river. There was not much flexibility with the restaurant. We had been really looking forward to our meal there but there were 2 sittings and we were not able to sit outside- not sure why as the weather was lovely. The menu was a set menu, which wasn't great for our 11 year old- we eventually opted to eat out in town, which was lovely. If we had been travelling without the kids we would definitely have gone for the meal.

The location is lovely, sadly our room did not have great views of the river as we had hoped. The terrace is also lovely.

we have made a booking spontaneously on our road back home to Prague from Barcelona , we wanted something in quiet location not far from highway. But we have found a true jewel. I was a very cozy place with old style furniture. The true surprise was awaiting us at the dinner , we didn't expect that we were at the heat at high molecular kitchen. it was 11 out of 10. please give this restaurant a Mechelen star. Will surely come back

Everything was great!

We had a beautiful room with a separate sitting area and a large balcony overlooking the Rhone River. The view was spectacular! The bathroom was huge with a stand alone shower and a bathtub. The restaurant also overlooked the river and the food was delicious!

run down - restaurant staff not properly trained - food quality very poor and wine list also really pathetic - the hotel shows a lack of love and care and this is evident to all customers hotel is run down and suffering from lack of investment compared to other regions and management doesn’t even care. rooms are tired and dated and falling apart and frankly the whole complex needs knocking down and management replaced - it is a wreck of a hotel. really sad to see this hotel which I have been visiting for 30 years descend to this level. the owners are trading on their real estate position and frankly the region needs more competition to finish this place off.

The hotel is OK but a bit worn-out. The owner is not very welcoming. She attacked us with proposals to change our reservation, and forgot that we had a reservation in the restaurant, and was analysing whether our small dog was welcome although that had been accepted long time ago when we reserved.

We came for the restaurant which is fantastic and the staff is super friendly.
