A great location, Hotel Solara was within walking distance to the beach and all the main sights. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and “la pierce de resistance” was a wonderful terrace with views across the city, where we could have a lovely breakfast, beautifully presented. Brilliant location, close to lots of nice restaurants. It is quiet at night despite being very central. Its close to airport and to train station for day trips. The hotel is on the 4th floor it has a small 2 person lift if you are claustrophobic you will be using the stairs. We had room 14 with a nice large terrace balcony for sitting out. Would recommend this hotel & location.

The walls are paper-thin meaning you can hear all of your neighbours. If you are a light sleeper or like to turn in early, you’ll probably have an issue with that. The internet was sketchy and spotty. I was frequently moving to my roaming mobile internet.

John Luis and Galina were excellent as hosts, the balcony in my room was fantastic and the location ideal.

This is more something to note not a negative point - the hotel is on the 4th floor and you can use the marble spiral stairs or there is a small lift.

The rooftop views from the balcony and the location was about 5 mins walk from the beach! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, they gave us good recommendations on where to visit!

Clean, tiny room in excellent location. It was a single room about the size of a ship's cabin. Nice big balcony with view out over the city. Close to the beach.

-Wifi had ups and downs -Very thin walls and no soundproofing, you can hear everything from the other rooms and the hallway (this is to be expected in older buildings)

-Decent size room -Comfortable bed -Location is very good, close to the city center -Room was clean, new towels every day -Hotel staff was always very attentive -Newer elevator, very small (however since the building was on the older side, it was nice to have it in the first place) -Minibar, TV, AC in the room -Our room had a very nice terrace with a nice view -Bathroom was a nice size, shower was good -Very good value for money

Nothing! Everything was great.

The location of the place is excellent. Restaurants and bars are at walking distance but it is still quiet in the rooms. Beach is less than a 5 minute walk. The staff is exceptionally nice. They will try to make your stay very comfortable and they are very helpful. I 100% recommend this place. It was my first time traveling solo and I felt completely safe and at ease.

At weekends there is a quite noisy street down the apartment so if you are looking for quite place it could be a bit challenging there. But in other case it is completely manageable .

The perfect stay for one or a couple who prefer spend most of the time out. Great location with walking distance to almost everything. Old Nice in 10 min, sea shore - in 5. Quite small apartment but with all facilities you need. And all above balcony is lovely, to have there a glass of wine in the evening or a cup of coffee in the morning is really enjoyable.

Super nice staff, very clean room, hot water in shower, great wifi. The bed was very comfortable and I had the best sleep. Also loved the balcony terrace and the fact that the hotel is so close to everything.
