We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

FranceThey combined reception area of ibis budget with ibis style, so some public equipments for ibis budget such as microwave are moved. Although I can ask receptionists in ibis style to heat foods up for me, but it would be great if I can do it by myself and don't bother staffs.
The hotel is near Lyon Perrache station. If you arrive to Lyon at Lyon Perrache, this would be a perfect choice.

FranceThe room was super hot, the A/C didn’t work. We asked the receptionist if its possible to fix it and she replied it’s the hotel policy not to change the temperature until the summer starts. It was 21 degrees outside and with the heater it was way worse. We stayed for a full week and they didn’t do anything about it.

United StatesThe shower was absolutely DANGEROUS. Extremely slippery, and no safety grab bars. I showered before bed as I like to do, but once the shower interior was wet I regretted it. I didn't even soap up, I was frankly terrified. I gingerly stepped out onto the thin towelling mat, and only the small size of the bathroom kept me from a nasty fall. I hung onto the hand basin and then eased myself onto the toilet seat and dried off sitting down. I am still bruised where my hip hit the hand basin. There were only two towels (for two people), and no hand towels. I warned my husband and he was sure I was exaggerating, until he stepped in and turned the water on. The bathroom and bedroom floors were also slippery with the slightest dampness, and as the room isn't carpeted there was a lot of slipping. There's a glass shelf over the hand basin, and when I bent forward to spit toothpaste into the sink, I whacked my head. When I backed off enough not to hit my head, I ended up spitting onto the floor! I wiped it up with toilet paper... Very uncomfortable.
It was clean. The staff are all very nice. The beds were comfortable. We had a lovely view over a garden. There was no noise from other guests, although the property was fully booked.

United KingdomI want my deposit back asap as charging my card without my authority is never done by any hotel.
Staff has not completed check out then not blocked but taken deposit without my authority took deposit money then made error in check out so deposit not returned still after completion of my trip plus calling property charges for deposit not returned found mistake by check out staff and promised money returns 24hours as cleared check out incomplete job still now my calculator for my trip euro less as this blocked in deposit and whenever they return euro I will have no use plus will incurr loss as exchange rate to sell lower so much hassle for staff mistake this is just so unfair and another location Ibis budget stay from 29 to 31 did not take any deposit so this Lyon branch Ibis clearly has this deposit system to earn people money wrongly

SpainSmelling bag everywhere, in the corridors, rooms and especially bathroom. Every night some stupid people smoke and in the middle of the night you wake up to a fire alarm. The bed sheets were not clean enough. The hotel is absolutely not in the center. Everywhere tiny bugs, not hotels fault but you can put a mosquito net at least.
The best thing was the staff. All the time friendly and smiling.

SpainThe fire alarm went off at 1am two out of the three nights we stayed. It went on for 10-15 minutes, we even evacuated the building but it was always a false alarm. Staff dont even say hello or bye when you enter/exit the building. Housekeeping is lousy, they dont even make the bed right. We had to fit our sheets ourselves before sleeping. Oh and the bed is not comfortable at all.. The door of the shower was broken and didnt close properly. Made an awful sound too. You could hear all of the conversations in the hallway from the room. The door is paper thin. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the closest metro stop. Not too bad bad after not being able to sleep properly and walkiing all day it's the last thing you wamt to do.
