How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very noisy even after 10pm. Had to see Manager twice to assist with noisy guest. Highly recommend hotel implementation a silence time period for guest to adhere to. 10pm to 6am. Rooms also small and showers uncomfortably small. Shower curtains did not assist and is old school. Highly recommend upgrade of guestroom facilities.
Good value for money. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

The room is very simple but it is ok for 2 star and the price
It is very close to Disney, private parking and dogs are allowed in hotel, the breakfast is good and cheap. There is two restaurants very close to hotel, it is good when you arrive tired and don’t want to spend much time to eat something. The hotel decoration ia nice and have a small space for kids to play.

I think the air con/heater in our room was broken, stuck on heat. We turned it down to 15 degrees but it was very hot ( I like heat but had to open windows for the night) it was October so not particularly hot outside either. We didn’t complain, I’m sure they would have put it right but we were very tired with a 4yo so didn’t want to have to move room middle of the night and we were only there 1 night
Room was clean as was main areas of hotel that we were in (reception and dining area). Staff were very helpful. Continental breakfast was good

We were very lucky to be able to get a car parking space, fortunately we arrived at just the right time when a car was leaving.
The rooms were comfortable and appropriate for our short stay. Breakfast was very good.

Squeaky bed and bathroom/toilet smell- we used some febreze, which made it tolerable .
Location was great . Staff - particularly Zakaria, at the front desk/ bar/kitchen was fantastic! He was excellent in his approach, genuinely happy to help , friendly- every thing we could have wanted from staff - especially in a foreign country. There were 7 of us (children and adults); All shared the similar sentiment. The communal area is child friendly - which is wonderful! One of the beds was a bit squeaky and one bathroom /toilet could have benefited from some air freshener. However, our experience with your staff- Zakaria overshadows this and we will definitely stay again if in these parts of France again.

Location to go to paris city center a bit far! To train station 15 min walk from hotel plus 30 min by train to city. we didint consider go by cart to city center 'crazy trafic'My wife complain about heater not hot during the night, but it was in august :/

The children said their beds weren’t comfortable (although they slept fine!). The main issue is that there are two Ibis Budget Pontault-Combault and the booking.com confirmation and directions sent us to the wrong one. This appears to happen all the time (the people both ahead and behind us at checkin had also gone to the wrong hotel) so would recommend they add something to the name - e.g North,South etc to differentiate between the two!
Basic but clean and a good location for our plans the following day.

The IBIS hotels are always good for a one-night stay while on the road for a vacation. This one offered slices of pizza and is next to a hamburger restaurant. Very convinient.
