I had issues with the wifi. For breakfast, the staff wouldn't remove other people's dishes and also wouldn't resupply some of the food, which made it a very bad experience.

Despite the hotel being described as Ibis Lyon Centre, it was approximately a 30 minute walk from the true centre. The accommodation was also very basic and did not provide good value for money

The elevators were broken through most of my stay. I was on the 4th floor so this wasnt convenient at all. The staff fortunately carried my suitcase upstairs and downstairs when I left for me so this mitigated the problem somewhat

Noisy room, there was a kind of rattling sound all night long, colors of the rooms, it is dark colors. The cleanness of the bathroom is not up to standard.

I didn't like that although we asked for a double bed, there were two single beds combined. The location was a bit further away from the nicer area of Lyon, not too far though. Small detail but I didn't like that the toilet was separate from the restroom.

Breakfast was a bit lacking for someone with a gluten intolerance. The coffee was decent though!

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. They coped with my terrible attempts at French and made me feel very welcome and safe, especially as a woman travelling alone. The room was quiet, clean and a good size for one person, and was tidied each day with clean towels.

It was a nightmare, after driving from Paris I got there at 12AM. The guy at the reception told me the reservation through booking was made for 2 (when it was actually made for three: my wife and my 10 year old son). He said we could not get into the room and he had no rooms for 3 people. He charged me extra 50 euros to put a matress on the floor (yes on the floor) in the double room, for my son. He made me help him to pull the matter from another room. it was disgusting, really. I need to get my money back made me pay. I will make a denounce before Consumer Protection if not.

The staff was not polite and not accommodating. It’s the ONLY property we stayed at in our 30 days in Europe that would NOT call a cab for us. They didn’t care we missed our train. I made a mistake when booking this property and they didn’t care it was a mistake they still charged me for 2 rooms.

We went there for checking in, after an exhausting day of travelling and the receptionist told us that we have ti wait for few hours as the room wasnt clean. We were there after 2-3 hours late from the check in time so we expected that our room should be ready. Unfortunately we asked for how long should we wait and the receptionist told us "i dont know". You see if you are on vacation, you have a schedule. So after contacting again the receptionist, we asked for an exchange, with a room at another hotel, close to area in the same level, and told us that they cant do nothing. Literally the receptionist doesnt speak english and she couldnt understand what we were saying. Later we' ve decided to go and see a museum until the room is ready and 5 minutes later the receptionist called me with the excuse "We did a mistake, your room is ready". As you can see, we couldnt leave from the museum, so we went back later, and FINALLY the gave us a room. Very bad experience, of course we asked for a discount and they applied a mini discount to our price, but we think that this wasnt enough for all this delay. Also the toilet was too tiny, i couldnt even be relaxed sitting there, and there was too different rooms for toilet and bathroom.
