Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The receptionist (a guy with dark curly hair) was the best pet about this hotel. I am sorry I don’t remember his name but he helped us with the crib for our baby and he changed our room when we told him it was smelly with such an enthusiasm. Really bravo!

GermanyThe toilet flush did not work well. the shower was not very convenient and you end up with a swimming pool in the bathroom. The curtains were a bit broken and also did not block out the light properly.
The breakfast was very good. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. They remembered that I had a special request for the room (big enough to put the baby bed) and they made sure to agree with our request.

IrelandThe aircon in the room 207 didn't seem to work at all, so I woke up a few times too hot. It's Spring so not too hot yet but come summer that might be a problem. The free Wifi is OK for texts, but no good for a video call or streaming anything. My phone said there's about 115Mb for all the guest to share. So in the evening you might have 1 or2 Mb. I'd prefer it if you could just select paid WIFI as an option on the login screen and add it to the room or pay by cc. I would have eaten in the hotel in the evening if there'd been any vegetarian option on the menu.
Really friendly, smiley staff. Bedroom comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was a good selection, only wish I could have stayed longer for breakfast. A selection of restaurants opposite the hotel - Factory's is my favourite. Short walk to the RER with fast trains into the centre of Paris. There's a decent, but limited menu for food in the hotel if you're a meat eater.
