Shower door leaked. Only two, small, poor quality towels,one each. Television signal poor so picture continually pixelating.

Overall a bit tired. Very tired bathroom facilities, small room, small towels etc.

The location is perfect, situated right in the heart of things near sites to see and places to eat etc. Great if you get a parking space.

The air conditioning in the rooms wasn't working throughout the hotel which made for a very warm night. The following morning at checkout we saw an A4 sized notice at reception warning of water contamination- too late for us, having already brushed teeth and drunk the water! Notwithstanding the water problem, it would have been good to have been provided with a kettle and tea&coffee making facilities in the rooms. The onsite parking charges were relatively expensive in comparison to better priced options nearby.

I've stayed in many Ibis hotels and this one was generally a familiar style and good standard. The location is great as it's right in the city centre and there are plenty of facilities available nearby such as bars, restaurants and shops. The beds were clean and comfortable. The shower was clean, warm and powerful. I used nearby overnight parking, as it was half the cost of the available on site parking. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and I was offered a 21% price discount due to non-functioning aircon in our rooms. Luckily the city isn't very noisy as we slept with the windows open to try and cool the room.

It was very hot and when I asked why the air conditioning is not working in the room (although the reservations said that it was included), the staff informed me that the air conditioning was broken in the entire hotel, which is strange because it was working at the reception and in the cafeteria. As such, even during the night, it was very uncomfortable because of the heat and I had to leave the window opened, which did not make much difference.

it was centrally located and in easy reach of restaurants. staff were helpful when i needed to book a hotel in La Rochelle and Booking .com wasn’t responding. also booked my train ticket for me.

Room 210 had loose flooring and gaps between floorboards. Dispenser for lotion in shower did not work but was replaced promptly.

Toilet bowl very dirty it's black, towels are quite thin, superficial cleaning floor not been swept. one senior staff (Manager?) very unfriendly, almost rude.

As others have said the rooms and bathrooms are very small. Parking is very tight.

We stayed here for a one night stop over. Great Central location with parking - If you have a large vehicle like us you need to state that when you make a reservation, we were given the largest space. Comfortable beds. Simplel check in, staff helpful.

It was basic and the air conditioning wasn’t very effective which was not great for the hot evening we were there. It was also pretty expensive all things considered.

The location is excellent and the staff very friendly. It was also clean. It’s own car park was a plus. And of course it’s in Poitiers - which is a wonderful place.
