Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Very friendly people are working there. Nice restaurant in the hotel, we ate there few times and also order to the room. Location is also very good, not far from the beach and old town ( we fall in love with old town). Room was big and clean , comfy bed.

BelgiumIts a terrific property. It’s just a little on the far end of the town, so 25 mins walk from the beach, 20 from the train station and took me a while to commute to Cannes, where I had come for an event for. But the property itself is excellent.
A nice new modern hotel, with very spacious comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Very helpful staff. the beds are extremely comfortable.

United Arab EmiratesPaid parking... If we are paying to stay at your hotel, especially if we searched specifically for hotels with parking) we dont expect to have to pay 20 Euro a night to park. If you are a 2 year old hotel, hows about you design it with enough parking spaces for guest so that you don't just build less and then charge a premium to those that need it. (In my country, all IHG Hotels have free valet parking, but at Indigo, you pay to park your car yourself.
We travelled to 6 countries in 3 weeks, this was the most comfortable bed, most comfortable mattress without a doubt. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were upgraded. New comfortable hotel. Well appointed, spacious rooms with floor to ceiling windows and balconies.

United KingdomVery minor negatives - the hotel was far from full during our stay and most days all the loungers on the rooftop pool area were occupied, this might become a problem as the hotel increases its guest capacity. We didn't use the rooftop bar as we felt the prices for a cocktail were excessive for the location of the hotel, more like 'bord de mer' prices. We booked a standard King with balcony and requested a room with a view of the chateau/hills behind Cagnes - on arrival we were allocated a room facing an adjacent retirement apartment block and although this is the quieter and sunnier side, we preferred to be on the other (road) side which is noisier (if on the balcony during the day) but in our opinion has a more interesting view. The reception staff organised a swap without any fuss and we just paid a small upgrade fee to have a room on the this side.
Very comfortable new hotel which we stayed in whilst family who live just up the road from hotel were having renovations done. The hotel is light, modern and very clean. The staff are a super friendly, young team but go out of their way to be helpful and cheerful. The rooms are modern and spacious with very comfy beds and lovely modern bathrooms. Breakfast was very good with a large selection of self service items including fruit, nuts & seeds etc. yoghurts, cold meat/cheese, bread and pastries. Chefs are on hand to cook fresh omelettes or eggs. The girl attending the breakfast service had only been there a few days but she was extremely efficient, very smiley and professional. The rooftop pool and bar are an added bonus with comfortable loungers and towels provided. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere and is very well located - we were able to walk to the very friendly local tennis club, took the train to Villefranche and Juan les Pins, did a stunning early morning walk on the coastal/littoral path around the Cap d'Antibes, hopped on the bus to Vence for a delicious lunch and took the free navette/shuttle bus up to the Haut de Cagnes (recommend 'Jimmy's' resto for an amazing view) and walked to Renoir's house and garden. Cagnes sur Mer is an often overlooked destination on the Cote d'Azur but it has much to offer and in our opinion is a much more 'authentic' town than say Antibes or Cannes and is less than a 15 min drive to Nice Airport. As regular visitors to Cagnes sur Mer we have literally seen the hotel rise from its foundations and it far exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend you give it a try if you want something a little different from the very touristique towns along the coast.

Switzerland-family room was a bit small. we had the couch extended for my child and it was difficult to move through the room. however the bed was extremely wide and could have easily fit all 3 of us (hence could live without the extra bed) - hotel is easy to reach but nothing really exciting within walking distance from the hotel (promenade, restaurant etc). we really headed back only when the day was over.
+modern and new furniture and facilities +very clean +cool rooftop bar +nice (though very small) rooftop pool (which closes at 20:00) +extremely polite and helpful staff +parking available (both hotel owned and public) right next to the hotel +bus station close by (5-6 min walk) for the free shuttle that takes you up to the castel where there are a few nice restaurants with great view on the surrounding area (check schedule of the shuttle)

CanadaROOM ACCESSORIES with many unpractical features. Ex: Electrical outlets are way too far from work desk (unable to plug laptop) and hall mirror (unable to blow dry hair while husband in the shower). Extreme Designer Sink is way too shallow, making filling a water bottle difficult, and it is uselessly too wide with tiny counter space left for toiletries. Washroom door is a very large Designer type sliding glass panel that does not cut out water and blowdryer noise, which makes it unpleasant for spouse trying to watch tv one meter away from it. Until we get used to it, we hit the large glass door against the wall while sliding it, which makes a huge noise. Bedside lamps are not sufficient for reading a book in bed. None of these details is a no-go. The bed is fantastic, the room is silent, the air conditioning is pure bliss, and the room is brand new and super-super clean. Also, the hotel lobby and restaurant are the most beautiful decor seen in a hotel in a long time (it has happy blue velvet color). I loved it! My comment only goes to hotel room DESIGNERS who appear to try too hard to create new ways, but lose practicality in the process. I would love to give a list of advice to the designer firm. It would also help future hotel operators with long-term maintenance. I kept wondering if our room was designed by a single in his/her early twenties... Ha! Ha! Ha!
TEAM working at this location is Outstanding. BEST EVER SERVICE, friendliness and dedication. WOW! POOL and chairs on the rooftop were as fabulous as the pictures showed. Absolute Bliss! FOOD for breakfast and dinner at Cucina Victoria was perfect and staff cared for us with impeccable service. LOCATION away from the beach area is quieter which underscores the perfect location of this hotel NEW HOTEL with outstanding maintenance and cleaning.

Breakfast was fresh, though could have had more hot options and more fresh cut fruit. But understand that hotel was not full. The second day the pancakes did not come out until we had almost finished.

SwitzerlandQuite a challenge to enter the parking (very narrow and angle of entry is complicated), I have no idea how big cars can manage that. Since we were in April, hotel was almost empty, therefore restaurant was working sporadically and food at the breakfast was not a great variety. Also I think the prices at the bar and restaurant are a bit overpriced.
Brand new hotel, we had quite a big room which was comfortable, nice balcony. We spend great time at the pool on the roof.

NetherlandsThe rooms were quit warm in late April and the air conditioning were not on yet. Understandable because it is just too early for now. We fix that by having the balcony door open.
The staff members are super nice. Rooms are very clean, well maintained and spacious. Also people in the area are nice, welcoming and are happy to speak English.
