How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was all really good except for the design of the shower cubicle, it was near impossible to avoid water dripping onto the bathroom floor, perhaps a shower curtain would have helped, I tried my best not to get water everywhere!
The room was a great size and very clean. Breakfast was very good as was dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was also great to feel comfortable about taking all 3 dogs into the hotel, definitely dog friendly, the dogs were also welcome into the restaurant if we wanted but we just left them in the car while we ate, we could see the car from the dining room and they were all quite comfortable.

Fantastic hotel, fourth time staying here and will definitely stay again when we drive down again next year. Also dog friendly which is a big help as my sister travels with her dogs.

Nothing everything was great.
Perfect location for a stop over with a dog in a quiet area. The hotel was clean and had a restaurant and bar so no need to get back in the car after a very long drive. There is a nice garden to sit out out and have a drink and a meal. There is a lovely wooded area behind the hotel which is perfect for dog walkibg. We crossed the road through the woods and found an even bigger public woodland that our dog really enjoyed. The staff were all super and very helpful and the restaurant even had a vegan option. Really recommend this lovely hotel in every way.

Even though there was air conditioning in the room, the air conditioning did not work and in august with 36 degrees it is not a good experience to try. On a positive note, the staff, who were very kind, made us find a fan at our request in order to try to sleep more peacefully after a 900 km journey. The breakfast was good, but not continental.
We arrived at the closing time of the restaurant, but the very friendly staff allowed us to eat something off the menu. The room was very quiet. The hotel is very close to the freeway, which makes it convenient for those who have to travel.

It was all fine.
The hotel is ideally situated near the motorway. We travelled from the ferry at Caen and travelled further south the next day. The hotel has a good restaurant meaning that we didn’t have to go out again. The breakfast was excellent.

in toilet the interconnecting extract fan meant you could hear residents in adjacent rooms toilet / bathroom - not good not ideal location to get into Tours centre 40e in taxi

Nothing really.
Good size bedroom which was taken into account the fact we have a large breed dog, so it was very thoughtful. We were able to have dinner and breakfast outside with the dog as well. Good variety at breakfast, staff was very nice, private parking (in our case we could park just outside near our bedroom window 😂). Near an Auchan supermarket so in case you need some groceries it is helpful and there is a small woods area to walk the dog.

Would've liked a more spacious room and it was a bit expensive for what it is. The breakfast was quite basic.
Great little stop with my dog on the way to Spain. They put me at the far end with direct access out to the carpark and wrap around garden, which was ideal. I arrived late at night and it was no problem for them- they called me in advance and left my Key at the front desk and gave me the code to get in. Dodgy decor and a small room, but very clean and bathroom and a great shower.

Perfect stopover for travelling with a dog. Has a huge lawn out the back and a forest area for walking the dog, free parking and only a few minutes by car from the motorway.
