How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Building works opposite hotel
Location is great, right on the edge of the old town, its a 10 minute walk into the centre of the old town from the hotel. Underground car parking is available and the access is easy from the main ring road. Nice clean room.

It was a little further from the center of old town than I expected. Quite a walk for an older person. Also, the price of breakfast, 23€, was quite high considering the limited array of food (mostly breads). I’ve had much better breakfast buffets for considerably less.
It was impeccably clean and safe. Well appointed hotel.

the view of the window is a construction site, but this is temporary.
the hotel was great. everything that should be in a hotel room. breakfast was good. location is just outside the old center of the town ( 2 minutes walk)

Breakfast cost at €23 too high. Nearby Ibis Hotel was only €13.50! Couple of small faults - bathroom sink plug was jammed & sliding door needed adjustment.
Modern, clean, spacious, convenient, friendly, nice decor, nice bathroom, two comfortable chairs, ample sockets, good lighting

We have stayed here before on our way to/from our home in Italy. An excellent Hotel with pleasant and friendly Staff who are always helpful. A great Bar area and Food if required. A large bedroom with spotless bed linen together with a great shower & toiletries and plenty of towels. Comfortable and quiet. A great location with easy parking- very close to Colmar centre and all its attractions.

Location is great only a 15 minute walk to the old town on Colmar it was very quiet but it was early March The underground secure car park was important to us The room was very comfortable we were at the back of the hotel so we didn't have a view but it was quiet and the bed was exceptionally comfortable the bathroom was of high quality with full range of products The reception were very friendly and helpful

Parking is not covered
Excellent hot chocolat and very confortable bed and shower. Facilities are great with toys for children in the hall. Helpful check in and check out on line.friendly staff. Local products for breakfast

Can’t think of anything tbh
Great location to check out the Christmas markets in the area. The room was big and beautifully decorated. Our room had a great view of the town. Breakfast wasn’t plentiful but good enough. Staff were very friendly.

We liked everything.
Central location, friendly staff who took time to suggest places to visit and restaurants and cafes to try. Rooms were light, bright and clean with both tea making facilities and a coffee machine.

Prices for drinks at the bar were ridiculously high and buffet breakfast at 23 Euros is expensive
A very nice Boutique Hotel were the staff do everything they can to make you happy and comfortable Bedrooms are delightful and good showers

The luggage rack was oddly placed and made for a very narrow passage to the other side of the room. Would strongly suggest moving it.
The room was cozy and the beds were very comfy. Enjoy two wonderful nights of sleep!

I thought the breakfast was only ok. There was a nice selection of cheese and meat, but not many vegetables or other items. Perhaps my expectations were too high based on how great everything else was.
This modern, classy hotel was very clean. The mattress and pillow were great. Staff was friendly and helpful. I had several emails back and forth to make a dinner reservation and they were able to communicate in English and found exactly the type of food I wanted. Parking right nest door was convenient and easy to get to.

The hotel is conveniently located in terms of historic Colmar, but the view from the hotel is onto a major thoroughfare or parking lot.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the windows were soundproof. The breakfast was very good.
