How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Small room but very normal in Paris. Breakfast, only expensive buffet option.
Nice service. Room with fridge, free water and coffee machine. Looked like remodeled recently. Close to well know Paris touristic places.

I have only words of praise for the staff of this hotel, but also for the hotel in general. Amazing people. On the first day, we got to the hotel late because of the flight, it was raining heavily, and the taxi didn't want to take us from Porte Maillot to the hotel because of the short distance, so we got really wet. The man at the hotel whose name I don't know was very kind and did everything to make us feel welcome. Even the day after, our phone was left in the hotel room after check out, so the staff called us on the phone, sent us emails and even offered to mail us the phone to the address we indicated. Really wonderful people and a superb hotel. All recommendations 🫶🤝

The room is tiny, as most rooms are in Paris, so we would recommend a short stay and busy days in the city.
The room and the bathroom were tidy and quite comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was plentiful and good. The metro station Sablons (line 1 through the city center) is 5 min on foot from the hotel. Several shops and restaurants are located nearby, as the Bois de Boulogne is, and the place is quiet at night.

room prices fluctuate too much! I've tried booking for early June and the room price is more than double what it is now...
rooms & bathrooms are small, but functional, comfortable and very clean. Bar / lounge area are very friendly.

Variation in the price of rooms based on dates means we could only afford this if booked early or outside busy Paris dates. Close to Metro line 1 for easy access to Paris and the Bois de Bologne. Nicer now the nearby major road works are coming to an end.
Location (from our perspective) and relatively spacious rooms (and bathroom) for Paris. Was a return visit for us although we were lucky to find a date when the price was affordable. Superb street market across the road two days a week!

the rooms were a bit tight. we were staying for a week and it was difficult to find space to both put the luggage and empty its contents.
Excellent location, great value for money. The atmosphere in the dining room is cozy. The hotel is of recent make. I highly recommend for a short or long weekend in Paris.

Beautiful boutique hotel, off center but not far as there is metro nearby offering a quick commute to central Paris. Nicely decorated, very comfortable bed. coffee in the room

The bar closed at 9pm - this may have been because it was New Years Day.
This is a lovely clean and comfortable hotel which is furnished beautifully. The staff are very friendly and the location is very good. On New Years Eve, the hotel offered all their guests a complimentary drink in the bar which was a lovely gesture. There was always someone on reception to let you in if you were returning to the hotel late.

Beautiful hotel, with a magnificent breakfast room! Breakfast was delicious, great service from the staff! Great location, late check in at 11pm was met with a friendly staff member. Much appreciated!
