If we really have to be picky, I would say that the towels in the bath room miss fabric softener.

Second time here in less than a year, now with some friends. As we did, they loved the place and the very kind hosts. It is a very quiet, nicely decorated an charming house to stay in with a delicious breakfast.

The owners do have a cat and a dog. Excellently behaved but my husband is severely allergic to cats and it did effect him in the communal areas. It would have been nice to know in advance as for him it is a serious issue.

Breakfast excellent but when asked for your choice of patisserie do not think that is the whole breakfast as we did! That is additional so that the pastries come direct from the Boulangerie in the morning. We booked a room - we got a large room plus a hall plus a large shower room. It smelt nice!

Everything was perfect. I really enjoyed my stay. It is a beautiful place, with lovely details and a very good ambiance. A lovely garden with pool, even when you are so near by the city mainsquare. They have all the facilities you need: very luxe breakfast, perfect beds and most of all the best hostess and host you can have!

I have to say we did miss not having tea/coffee available in our room

Absolutely beautiful property. Just loved the decor .Our bedroom and bathroom were superb . The garden is magnificent.. The pool the icing on the cake . It is so quiet and peaceful here ... even in the middle of town. Marie and Rodger are really good hosts . . We honestly didn't want to leave .

A little tricky to find, although the host provided additional directions in advance.

An exceptionally large, cosy and nicely decorated suite opening onto a delightful garden. We had every amenity we could need and our hosts kindly made us tea on arrival and kept food refrigerated for us. A large and rambling English garden provides privacy and a beautiful oasis for guests.

A very nice welcome by Mary. Lovely refurbished old property with a delightful garden with a swimming pool. Comfortable room with view of Montmorillon. Generous breakfast with a lovely pot of English Breakfast tea.

Having a night in a quirky 16th Century building with most mid cons. Lovely gardens and pool, which was great to relax in after a long drive on a hot day. Hostess went out of her way to get fresh croissants by driving to the next town as local bakers are not open on Mondays! Free parking locally

Marie and Rodger have created a beautiful home in the heart of a lovely town. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the breakfast was a feast! we only stayed one night, wished we booked more, didn’t want to get out of that big comfortable bed! looking forward to returning in summer to use the pool and see the garden in all its beauty. thank you both so much

What a fabulous place a little hidden gem 💎 Maria and Rodger were fantastic hosts we felt at home and comfortable the minute we arrived. They have a sweet dog Oliie who met us at the door each time we came back. You walk through the door and what a fabulous place the decor was quintessentially french, So beautiful. The beds were so comfortable and the sheets were crisp white. Maria and Rodger were so helpful with directions and tips on where to eat. The breakfast was superb we were given so much choice and it was all fresh. We would definitely recommend and return if we're ever down that way. Thank you xx Lesa Stuart & Alex Edge
