The hotel's restaurant was outstanding. We enjoyed an excellent dinner that was of a very high standard at a very reasonable 3 course meal inclusive rate. We ate in the lovely outside garden courtyard, which was extremely pleasant, quiet and sheltered from the breeze. All staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Some of the decor feels tired and in need of renovation. My bedroom, being opposite the bar on the other side of the street, was noisy on the Saturday night, though the double glazing helped.

All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful, with a great deal of choice. The position in the older part of Frejus was a revelation, and the secure parking was reassuring.

Room was a bit worn and carpet was very dirty. No amenities in the room like kettle, fridge safe or anything like that.

Good location next to centre ville. Plenty of shops and things nearby. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Lovely.food in the restaurant.

The location is a fair walk removed from the seaside, but it's a level walk and most people wouldn't have a problem with the distance, The cost of the breakfast is on the high side.

Very friendly staff, who were always willing to assist. Good location, close to the centre of Old Fréjus, as well as a train station. Good breakfast and comfortable rooms.

On a Sunday, between 12pm and 7pm the pool area was opened to the public, making it impossible to get a sun bed or to use the area. This was mentioned to us before we arrived but we didn’t appreciate just how busy the pool and surrounding area would be. The music, which was quite loud, finished promptly at 7pm. Thankfully, during the week the pool area was quiet.

Excellent location, within walking distance of restaurants and bars. The hotel plat du jour was very good and was well attended. Breakfast was a continental buffet style, which had a good variety, though some items were not always available every day.

The management had sublet the pool and the restaurant at weekends to an Facebook influencers type set and residents were made to feel uncomfortable with a very loud disco playing in the entire pool area

Why on earth would you have pool parties on a Saturday and Sunday afternoon with two dozen youngsters who think they are gods gift. No surprise there were no hotel guests around the pool at those times

NO SHOWER, VERY DISAPPOINTING

The location suited us perfectly, in the middle of the old village and close to the arena. Lovely pool but the standout for us was the excellent restaurant. Dined twice and we felt after 5 weeks touring France the dishes produced were the best. Well done to the Chef!

However, we found out that our garden door could not be locked. We had a room on the first floor and from the pool everyone could reach this door. We reported this to the reception where we got the answer that we had to slam the door hard. When we wanted to try this we already saw that the window was loose in the frame. This was probably also tried by previous guests and failed. When we want to go for dinner we decided to put the important things in the safe. This did not work either. Again reported to the reception. We clearly indicated that it is not pleasant to leave all your stuff in the room whose door can be opened by anyone. We had asked for another room but unfortunately there was none free. We could get a room in the non-renovated part of the hotel. For images, see the last pictures what are indicated on booking. We were shocked. It smelled extremely musty and was the complete opposite of what booking shows in the first 100 pictures. In doing so, the lady at the front desk indicated that we could put our stuff with them, which of course is inconvenient. You book a room for storage of your belongings and for an overnight stay. The conversation at the front desk was in unpleasant and we were ignored in between picking up the phone and receiving guests while she was talking to us. Fortunately the next day the manager came directly to our room to fix the lock and gave us a free breakfast for the inconvenience. He treated us nicely and showed understanding for the situation. This is how the lady at the front desk could have responded the night before. Similarly, when we checked out, she did not ask us how our stay was and few words came to mind. Conclusion: - The hotel clearly still needs some direction and is a bit messy in its organization. - Sign in front of the door with 'do not disturb' the cleaning lady came 2 times at the door if she could clean the room. After we told her to be gone in 15 mins she did not come back to clean the room either.

It is a neat and clean hotel. Pleasant location. Town and beach is within walking distance. Exactly as partially expected from the pictures. It is important to know that not all rooms have been renovated. The first 90 pictures mentioned on booking are some rooms that are finished. We had a renovated room with a non-renovated bathroom. Other than that, this was not a problem for us. It was clean but unfortunately not exactly what we booked. So far we were satisfied.
