We would prefer a kettle etc in the room rather than on the landing but this is a small point.

Location ideal but we have visited Vertus before so we knew this. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was superb, plentiful and beautifully presented. We could not have asked for more. We would definitely go back and highly recommend L'atelier to all.

Very nice, comfortable accommodation in the Champagne Côte des Blancs area in an old pleasant village. Excellent breakfast with fresh local products. Jaqueline, the manager, offered us an exquisite tasting of their products. She was very considerate of our requests.

Super modern French chic. Huge bedroom very comfortable. Wonderful host (Jacqueline) and fantastic big breakfast, eggs offered too. Parking is easy in the courtyard. Big garden terrace area.

The room was really spacious with a big lovely bed and a couple of armchairs with a small table at the other end of the room. Armchairs and table were placed in front of a large TV. There were two windows facing a small garden where there were furniture if you wanted to sit outside. The garden had a big wall to close out the street outside the building. The room was on the first floor so you be overlooked the garden as well as the wall. Still, there were no problem with traffic noice because there was little traffic and the windows were well isolated. Windows could be opened and we had them opened during night. The room was well equipped with a large shower room and everything was very fresh - probably renovated/built quite recently. The breakfast varied with exceptionally good bread. We also liked the cheeses and the charcuterie. The service was very good, for example we were asked if we wanted any egg meals cooked on demand. Since this was at the property of a Champagne producer we had a tasting of exquisite Champagne. Jacqueline gave us interesting insights into Champagne making as well as the world of Champagne houses and how to understand what is quality when it comes to Champagne. We’re very thankful for that! Tasting as well as buying Mailliard Champagne is Highly recommended!

We cannot rate this property highly enough, it was really lovely. The room was huge, beautifully finished with a really comfortable bed. We were given a warm welcome by Jacqueline with glasses of champagne and lots of information about the champagne region. The breakfast was also very good.

Fantastic B&B. Jacqueline was a great host who helped us with recommendations for champagne houses and dinner (which is very tricky in the region in august). The tasting was very informative and we left with a good amount of their champagne. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Champagne.

The host that welcomed us was not very friendly, maybe if we bought champagne they would be friendlier? Also there is a big difference between the rooms, in spaciousness , but they are all the same price, little weird.
