For business travellers, breakfast starts a little late (8h30) It's not easy finding a parking space close to the hotel but that wasn't an issue for me

It is located in a very small village with only a small number of restaurants. Local beach is quite stoney. There are better beaches nearby.

An excellent small hotel with a medium to large restaurant attached. The breakfast was very good , fresh fruit and croissants, bacon eggs and cheese , a fresh coffee bean state of the art machine which also made hot chocolate and not a watery version but a very yummy hot chocolate. I was meeting with my family and friends from a campsite and 15 of us ate at the hotel on my second night of stay. We all enjoyed our meals .the hotel sits on a little square and in the morning there is a small market .,But not noisy. The rooms were clean and the air con worked well until i stupidly opened the window slightly and forgot to close it .Then a sensor switch it of my fault. Yes I would stay there again. Also note that if you arrive in to La Rochelle by train you can get a bus onto the island I was collected by car and there was a 15 euro toll but I went back by bus and it was 2 euros excellent service .Also we found all the restaurants very competitively priced considering it was peak season .😊

Great place with a lovely atmosphere, very nice breakfast and just perfect to explore the liveky island preferably by bike. The beach is 10 min away by foot and the town is actually quite cosy and not so busy compared to St Martin or la Flotte. The restaurant is also amazing!

Loved the location. Not too busy in this location and bike rental place on the doorstep which managed to fix us up with E-bikes for the following day. Staff were helpful. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and enjoyed our meals.

Unfortunately we tried to have an apéro at the bar, but despite the fact we were obviously staying at the hotel and we had spoken to a member of staff, nobody came and took our order. So we left! It was not busy at all, so very annoying!

Small detail, the pillows were a little uncomfortable.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was very light and airy. And it was very quiet due to the excellant sound proofing!

Rather disappointed/worried to discover that the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening & all day Monday. In fact this wasn’t a problem as there was a restaurant open across the square, and a boulangerie which served snacks. There are also more restaurants in Sainte Marie.

Located in the village square adjacent to restaurants, shops and small market. Good breakfast. Very comfortable bedroom with lots of storage available. Good shower. Friendly & helpful staff. Easy parking nearby.

The hotel is just wonderful: very tasteful, great restaurant, more than reasonably priced and very helpful staff. It is situated in the nice, pittoresk village of Sainte-Marie-de-Re, close to the beach. It couldn't be better. Definitely recommended!

A bit far from the centre of Ste Marie, so as we visited out of season, it meant that we had to travel by car if we wanted to go to another restaurant in the evening.

lovely clean rooms, great food, fun location for first night of our stay on the island, centre of village with fun market and Bastille day village party. Would have been too noisy for a family with young children, but our teens enjoyed the family fun.
