The upstairs sleeping loft has great beds, but no bathroom, so you need to walk down steep stairs when a bathroom is needed.

Everything was amazing!

Our hosts were phenomenal! They offered rides to and from the train station and stayed to show us how everything worked, pointed out markets, attractions, etc. They provided local ciders for us to try, left a plate of fresh apple baked goods, and even fixed a pot of coffee we enjoyed after a day of traveling. I cannot stress enough how much we would love to stay there again on future visits!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It has a prime location in one of the prettiest towns in Normandy and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The owner could not have been more welcoming and helpful.

Lovely apartment where the owner has made it feel like a home away from home. It was great having a washing machine and dryer after travelling for over a week. The location is excellent, plus we managed to get a car park out front every night of our stay. We stayed for 3 nights but there is so much to do in the area we could have longer!

Bedroom upstairs and bathroom down was not ideal for nighttime trips, but we left a light on and had our own night lights.

The location is perfect, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Parking is both free on the street or paid in the lot. The washer and dryer a nice bonus. Our Overlord D-dayTour guide was exceptional.

Basic instructions for the tv in the English language would have been helpful.

It was well located within the township - good speciality food shops, restaurants, clothing stores nearby. An easy walk to the Cathedral and Tapestry. There is also a supermarket within easy walking distance.

My husband and I loved the property for many reasons. To name a few was how convenient the location was to everything. We walked every where we went and we arrived by train and our hosts picked us up and took us back to the train station. We also loved the cleanliness of the Property. We felt at home and we picked up a few groceries and got fresh vegetables and fruit from the outdoor market and fixed food in the apartment. The property was decorated so cute and it was so much better than our hotel rooms we stayed at in Paris!

A very comfortable base from which to explore Bayeux and Normandy. A wonderful host, Catherine greeted us with coffee and muffins. Very comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine. Highly recommend this accommodation!

We knew there were steps up to the bedroom but there are also steps up to the unit from the street. We managed, but for some it might be an issue.

Great location and value! Catherine was an excellent host and went above and beyond to accommodate us! Washer/Dryer were great bonus as we were on day 14 when we arrived! Catherine even had a pot of coffee brewing and fresh muffins to greet us when we arrived!

The toilet is in a very small area, but it's nice it is separate from the shower area.

The host arrived with fresh baked muffins and showed us the apartment. It had everything we needed - microwave, stovetop, coffee maker, washer and dryer. Spacious, bright and clean with an easy staircase to go up one floor.

The heat wave in France but the host was wonderful and brought in a brand new fan.

La Citadine was exactly as advertised. Lovely host, clean, comfortable beds and excellent shower with plenty of hot water. One thing to know is that the bathroom is on the main floor and not the floor with the bedroom.

the location worked well for us, we were lucky to find free parking on the street. Catherine was very responsive and was easily accessible, since she works next door to the unit. She even baked some little apple cakes and made fresh coffee for our arrival! so nice! We used Bayeux as a home base and did day trips from there. Car rental was not far from the rental unit.

Very friendly host! Catherine met us upon arrival to give us keys and show us the apartment. She even had freshly baked muffins and some drinks stocked for us. The apartment was very comfortable and super clean. It is right in the center of town and easy to walk to restaurants and shopping. Having a washer and separate dryer was fantastic. The apartment is up a flight of stairs from street level and when you enter the main floor it has the living room/kitchenette, laundry and bathroom. The bedroom with two beds was then up another flight of stairs, so not really accessible for anyone with mobility issues. But it’s perfect for everyone else and we highly recommend staying here!

No complaints. It was all good.

CLEAN, new, efficient. Good heat, GREAT washer and dryer -- two machines, not one. Big fridge. Easy street parking in front. Good comfy beds with quality linens. Good towels, good sized bathroom with shower. Spotlessly clean throughout. And Catherine the host is absolutely delightful. We wanted to take her home with us. She radiates warmth and kindness.
