During our recent trip to the charming town of Menton in southern France, we had the pleasure of staying in this spacious apartment hotel. The apartment had a large and exquisite bathroom, and the living area, in which the bed was situated, was tastefully decorated and well maintained. One of the standout features of this accommodation was the presence of two large doors leading out onto a private terrace. From this vantage point, we were treated to beautiful views of the town and glimpses of the sea. It provided the perfect spot for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while soaking in the picturesque scenery. The apartment hotel also boasted a lovely garden, adding a serene touch to the ambiance. Additionally, the availability of a coffee machine, kettle, and breakfast-making equipment allowed us to start our mornings at our own pace, enjoying a homemade breakfast in the comfort of our own space. In terms of location, the apartment hotel was situated in a quiet and pleasant area, conveniently close to various restaurants, shops, the train station, and Menton's charming old town.

Wifi was frustrating but not impossible.

Staff was incredibly responsive, great location, the large balcony with comfortable furniture, a large awning, and a distant view of the sea was a wonderful place to relax.

The only negative thing to mention is that the water pressure wasn't sufficient to work the large shower head but the smaller handheld one worked fine.

Large spacious accommodation with comfy bed, huge bathroom, great balcony. Quiet location, close to beach. Free coffee and limoncello were nice touches. Beautifully furnished.

Absolutely nothing!

Perfectly located, gorgeous and stylish house (inside and out), spotlessly clean, airy room and spacious terrace, everything you could need for a relaxing stay, helpful and communicative team. Loved everything about this stunning place!

The outside space was a little disappointing as there wasn’t much of a view and the garden (which guests had access to) wasn’t well kept. The floor of the shower area in the bathroom was particularly slippery when wet. The shower itself had low water pressure on the overhead waterfall attachment, and the handheld attachment often soaked the floor beyond the shower screen. Also, on one occasion the water was excruciatingly hot and couldn’t be moderated.

We liked the spaciousness of the room, general decor and cleanliness. We also found the location convenient.

There was very little we didn’t like - just the simple things like no bowls for breakfast cereal (no breakfast provided) and no additional cutlery which meant if you had used one spoon for yogurt you had to wash it up to stir your coffee!

We liked the building and communal areas and easy access. Loved the wrap around balcony with view. Very comfy large bed , excellent shower and bathroom with bath and the apartment was very clean and welcoming on arrival. 11am checkout is good for the last day.

This is a gorgeous property and perfect location in the lovely city of Menton! My sister and I especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace for morning coffee and late night wine. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

Good location for walking to beach or city center. breakfast was wonderful. Terrace was a wonderful bonus to enjoy at night. and Clyde was wonderful w sight seeing tips. we loved it!

I think la frabrique à Poupées was one of the best place I stayed in the South of France. The staff was really helpful with great recommendations for activities and restaurants. They made us feel really welcomed.

The rooms were immaculate and the bed supremely comfortable. There was air-conditioning in the bedroom and it had shutters at the patio doors which, for light sleepers, like us meant we had an excellent and quiet nights sleep. Breakfast was served on the veranda downstairs and included absolutely delicious homemade preserves and the most amazing croissants and breads. Our hosts were so welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful 5 days in Menton. The Fabrique a Poupees was close to the old town and the beaches - we'll be back to stay there again.

Only thing I would mention is that water drainage at the bathroom might need some attention. It smelt a bit in the morning. Perhaps the water didn't drain properly. Otherwise all perfect.

On a passé un séjour tres agréable! Beautifully decorated residence located quite close to the main town centre. All the major sites are within easy walking distance. The hosts are a friendly and kind French couple. Our room is spacious for a couple, with a fairly big balcony over looking the garden and bathroom is huge!

Everything was nice, the couple who runs this is some of the nicest people ever. I can only recommend this to everyone who looks to spend time in Menton. We had our car with us and it was parked behind a closed gate. I was worried before arriving but when I saw it i felt so confident about this place. Plus the police park all their cars in the place next to the yard, so don't worry.
